used an add on to add dark mode but it lags every webpage. would rather burn holes into my eyes with the white and faster load times

I'm using Stylus with a dark theme made by an user here and the impact on loading times is very small, like not noticeable most of the time.

Yeah I kinda lost all hope of CG ever making an official dark mode for SG at this point, it's been years without an answer.
But I've had pretty decent results with CSS tweaking add-ons like Stylus, I also use it to force Google Docs into dark mode.

While it looks like a nice one-fits-all solution I don't really want to turn every site into dark mode, just the ones I have to stare at for a prolonged time while reading/writing something. I'll keep it in mind for when I come across a site I have to use repeatedly and it has no user styles available, assuming I can't be asked to make one myself.
