Enabling Modules

SG++ is modular, therefore, only two features are enabled by default: Fixed Navbar and Scrolling Sidebar.

You can enable more modules by going to the account dropdown and clicking "SG++ Settings" ( check screenshot attached).

After saving the page will be reloaded.

Known Issues

  • Scrolling sidebar might break on some pages.

  • Fixed footer bug on FAQ page.

Awesome, thanks for this. I can finally use grid view.

But how do we add games to filter now? There's no more eye crossed over icon.

Temporarily you have to disable gridview and do it, we'll work on a fix in future, sorry for the inconvenience.

Is the error with the date picker a known issue?, temp work around by reloading page.

Comment has been collapsed.

We didn't change anything about datepicker, seems like a SGv2 issue to me, also having some weird issue with .autohide(), i'll talk to cg.

Nice beta. Thank you for it.
Just a question: SG+ had a feature which created a small new separate window when you clicked on a giveaway. Will this feature be implemented in SG++?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It might be, popup giveaway is definitely interesting for us.

Permalink

Glad to hear that :3

That would be great, it was one of my most used features. Really made the site more efficient to use with less time loading pages.

exactly this is what i also would love to have again. SGv2 implemented lots of SG+ features, which is great. but i really miss the popup thingy.

Yeeee we have been waiting. :D
I have been missing my chance percentages, will that be reintroduced?

Permalink

Gridview shows the chance.

Oooh nice. I'd still prefer it next to the comments/entries totals in the list view. Just a suggestion. :) Thanks so much for your work.

I will finish refactoring it once leo has finished reordering the repo

  • group gas will have a colored border or something (so that you can see them better)
  • in general I will try reorder the information that is displayed on hovering so that it looks more clean
  • future: once settings are more advanced (not simply: module on/off switch) I might bring custom modifications (you can decide what you want to see and kind of where (we will see)
->in general: it will look less ugly (this is just a beta after all)

Another suggestion I have for something I'd like to see is, the ability to sort by giveaways with multiple copies.

Yay! Thanks :)
Will there be an option to view the newest comments first? Also, any middle-way between endless scrolling and just 1 page possible?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The scroller has a button on the right that makes it stop adding new pages until you click it again. Is that what you wanted?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, not exactly. I was thinking more of an option that let you show more results per page (or that let you show a fixed amount of pages by default), without the need to pause the scrolling each time.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Hmm, maybe we can add an option for that in the slightly distant future. I'll talk to the other guys about it.

Permalink

Thank you for considering it :)

Enabling "EndlessScrollDiscussionReplies" makes comment go newest first. Im sure if that was intended since its two different things.
Also what patetico said. There is a pause button for the endless scrolling, under the OP, right side.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Ah, thanks, I'll try that option then.

Also works on Opera with Tampermonkey Beta (not with Violentmonkey though)

Edit: Just saw Bali505's comment a few posts above. Oh well.

How do I install/activate it?

Doesn't seem to work here.

Well, not certain what I did, it started working, but it seems the search function is broken for discussion and trades

I think Patetico noticed already and he is trying to figure out a fix

Will you also include features from madjoki's Endless scroll like endless scrolling, newest comment first, reply box on top etc.?
I'm unable to comment if I have both scripts enabled

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

madjoki already ported his code to SG++ some time ago, you don't need to install both scripts.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Enabling "EndlessScrollDiscussionReplies" sorts comments to newest first and reply box (on top) under OP. Is this supposed to happen with this function?

View attached image.
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, but it will change in the future. Since we don't have a proper settings page yet, madjoki decided to leave newest first as default and I believe he's preparing the code to add the option when we make it accessible through the settings.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, there is no settings yet.

For now there's this workaround:

I like it that way (being sorted). I was just wondering if it was intended or some kind of a mess up. Thanks both for clarification :)

Permalink

Didn't notice SG++ settings, thanks

Permalink

you should read the description at the top ;) (it holds that information and more)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Seems it broke the search box under Discussions?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

It's an issue with the ScrollingSidebar. I'll look into it, thanks for pointing it out.

Awww yeah! Thanks! :D

opera+chrome extension+tampermonkey works well :)
the only lack with the grid view is that i cant see levels, all the endless scrolling works well :) if i found something i'll let u kno w:D

i really like the comment and enter setting :)

Permalink

Opera isn't officially supported, yet
-> we will take a look at it once more modules/features are finished

but that of course doesn't mean that you cannot use it ;)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

with the right extensions it always worked well :) , and now it uses chromium as base so probably is not totally different by chrome :D

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Finally I can select where I want endless scrolling (it was a real PITA on long discussions), thanks for the work guys :)
What is the EntryCommenters god for?
Also a Back to top button in the header would be nice like in the old SG+.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

EntryCommenters adds a little button on giveaways that checks, from the people who entered the giveaway, who commented. DeltaBladeX requested something like this, so I made it and added to SG++ ,)
