Will you build a bundle?
Preordering gets you the whole bundle of 10 games. After it goes live you pick a minimum of 2 games for $1

If they're leading with a default asset "comical" RPG Maker game, I think I'll end up passing on this one...

Starbucks stores occasionally stock some gourmet blends that... actually still pale in comparison to $3-5 cups at a proper cafe. :C
And their piss-water home brew tastes like (presumably) licking dust filled with old, washed-out coffee grounds off a wet sidewalk.
Well, that totally objective analysis aside, they do use "blond" roast for most of their brews, which is apparently a Starbucks-exclusive roast degree that's lighter than "Extra-Light". They then add skim milk to their drinks.
So simple personal preferences aside, there's an actual distinct reason past dubious bean quality, that Starbucks tends to sit pretty poorly with most coffee enthusiasts used to more complex depth in their coffee.
Starbucks also seem to primarily be 'fast food' style establishments- uncomfortable chairs, open empty spaces, no reading materials, etc. The atmosphere is very different to a stylish sit-down cafe, or to a cozy "reading room" coffee shop. Heck, I've been to university coffee shops that were cozier in atmosphere than most Starbucks. :X
Regardless of personal preferences, there's no doubting that brand name plays a huge part in Starbuck's appeal-
In fact, of the people I made a point of asking [why they drank at Starbuck's], they primarily indicated it was because of the fact that Starbucks were everywhere, so they could be guaranteed consistency in what they got. In other words, they were willing to sacrifice quality for reliability.
Which could make sense, I suppose, if there was a bare minimum quality, but when basically any other coffee shop offered better? Didn't really follow.
So I proceeded to ask if they'd actually BEEN to non-Starbuck's..
Most indicated their only experiences had been with home-brewed (and usually cheap canned) coffee prior to Starbuck's.
So, there's likely your main answer as to why people will pay $7 for a cup of dubious coffee. :X

Back when I was into doing such things as going to coffee shops (AKA when I was in college and had friends) I actually visited several other local / artsy / "serious" coffee shops - and while I preferred their atmosphere and style - coffee is just coffee.
What I do like about Starbucks (although I haven't been more than many 7 times in the last 5 years - and at least 3 of those were someone else's idea and/or treat) is their "Candy Coffee" drinks. A Mocha Frappuccino is delicious! And adding a double or triple shot ads the caffeine that I need to function as a "normal" human being.
Sooooo I pretty much I don't drink Starbucks coffee as much as their milkshakes - and therefore I don't pay $7 for a cup of coffee.
But if you are just talking about a "Coffee" and not some mixed concoction - even StarBucks tops out at about $2.10 for their Grande / Large. (According to a quick google search.) That's their "Fresh Brewed Coffee" price.

The 'coffee is just coffee' thing is strictly false- objectively, I mean- as even just different roasts of the same beans taste quite different. But no, unless your taste buds are for some reason insensitive to such things [no shame in that] coffee is phenomenally complex- having similar breadth as beers do.
And, in terms of beers, Starbucks is a Bud Lite- very pale and watery and slightly sour (or in Starbuck's case, coarse-bitter) compared to other [quality] beers (or coffees).
If your goal is getting a caffeine fix or getting tipsy (or drunk), no, the specifics don't matter.
If it's to your tastes, then certainly, don't let anyone tell you not to enjoy it.
But just like Bud Lite, Starbuck's is generally considered a very poor example of the beverage, and while the differences may not matter to you, dismissing someone else's enjoyment of an entire category of food- be it bread, beer, coffee, cheese, whateverelse- is a bit untoward.
I assume you just meant that you didn't find them to be meaningfully distinct relative to your tastes and needs, however, and that's perfectly fine. :)
My point is more, don't assume we're necessarily exaggerating in the least, and certainly not lying, when we make our assertions on such things- because to us, the differences are rather notably pronounced.
(Also, could just be that all the shops around your area sucked :'P)
I certainly don't know Starbuck's prices off-hand, though I thought $7 was the price of a largest-size frappucino? The $7 was just the quote from above, that I was working into the context.
I do know that at the time I bought from Starbuck's regularly, years ago, the price was twice that of several other coffee shoppes in the area, and the university Starbuck's locations were nearing triple.
If the prices Google is giving us are accurate, it's likely fairly comparable in price, which makes practically all non-subjective factors irrelevant to the comparison between Starbuck's and other shops. :P
So while I may go out of my way to get an (ex.) nice dark ale or columbian brew (mmm~), there's certainly no reason for you to stop using Starbuck's if it's working for you, your tastes, and your needs. :)

The game from the background image looks great. Pre-ordered the bundle ^^ I love RPG-Maker games xD

I learned my lesson. I've seen too many examples of awesome games that came from greenlight bundles, but I wasn't smart and passed them up back in the day. Never again. At these pre-order prices, if only 1 game from the bundle turns out to be really good and gets greenlit, it's worth it.

I never pre-ordered before. I wonder if I should. Hmmm...

GolemBot:
Well, there's a game that happens to have a logo that resembles the NBA logo.
GolemBot:
Talking about sports, there is a sports game. Just not actually in a field.
GolemBot:
There's also something about an investigation. Doesn't look like an adventure game, as far as I can tell from the trailer.
Probably not HOG.
Lots of manilla folders, maybe.
I can't actually tell what type of game it's supposed to be by a cursory glance.
First one'd be the background game, as it has that logo. :)
Cy (GolemBot) indicated there's probably 12 games in total (10+2 bonus).

GolemBot:
Almost always 2 bonuses. This one just happens to have two extra games in the main.
>So potentially 12 games in total?
GolemBot:
Yes
GolemBot:
Well, look at that. One game's already greenlit.
(At a quick glance (since he was headed offline), without visiting the game pages directly, Cy added this:)
GolemBot: Looks mostly 2D. Probably only one 3D games.
