foobar2000, because it's lightweight and customizable. For those complain about foobar looking ugly etc. just install a theme/skin or combine several into one like I've done. Any decent player has support for ReplayGain and gapless playback, so every player that lacks those features is not worth your time.

If you are on Linux, try Clementine. There's a Windows version but never personally tried it.

Hi there once again brothers and sisters! Today i'm going to ask a question that will surely bring chaos and destruction upon our little planet...
As the title says, what do you think is the best audio player now? And why?! I'd prefer some kind of explanation, if you don't mind ;) So don't be shy and bring it on!
PS now i'm using Jet Audio (mainly because of his FLAC support) and I think it is a good one, but i'd like to listen what do you think about it too :)
