You can see if this is a puzzle or not by checking his steamgifts profile.
I'm not sure how to solve this though, and yes I think secret puzzles shouldn't be allowed, eventhough its rather amusing :3

With every secret puzzle my frustation in not winning rises and rises. :D
But I am not the person who has the right to choose if secret puzzles are allowed or not. :)

Puzzles are fun, but problem with secret puzzles is that sometimes you can't really tell. So someone can spend alot of time on something thats not there. In this case its quite clear though so its not bad.
