I dont know if it's better to leave it on or turn it off every time I go to bed.
I heard re-starting the PC damages it more than leaving it on for some hours, but I would like to hear what you usually do.

Nope, it's up 24/7/365. I only power it off when I need to change some hardware, and it gets a reboot every one in a while to install updates. And unless a power outage is very long, my UPS should usually keep it up even when electricity goes out.

I had a PC that I used to keep on most night. It died pretty fast. Now I turn it off at night and start it up during the day, and put it to sleep if I'm away and not downloading anything.

24/7 unless it crashes from me clocking my ram too low (I don't feel like turning the clocks back up, so it crashes every week or so)

I turn off my PC after each "use". Computer life time don`t matter much, because we change parts so often nowadays.

I try to, mainly since I've damaged two computers (one being a laptop that I left on for about 3 months straight, the other being a desktop, both of which were store-bought), to my knowledge both from literally never shutting them down. I try to shut down every night unless downloading, but old habits die hard and I mostly forget, meaning I generally shut down once every week or two.

Honestly this computer was built with a better case, a better heatsink and more fans than a standard pre-built HP computer anyway, so it's less likely to be damaged from constantly leaving it on, but still, better safe than sorry when it's the most expensive and powerful computer I've ever owned, you know?

If you are afraid to brake your computer by not putting it off you are doing it wrong. Just turn it off when you don't use it...

it is better to turn it off when you do not use it, both for you health and for your computer's resistance.

if you sleep near a working electrical device, your sleep is disturbed by the electro-magnetic spikes called "dirty electricity", that affects the human body's electro-magnetic field which in turn affect your body's overall health
