Gearcrack Arena - All unused keys are now invalid

Hey everyone, I just tried to make a trade with someone for Gearcrack Arena, and when I tried to activate the key, it said it was Invalid (not just already used, but completely invalid).

I checked the community discussions on Steam, and it seems other people have the same issue (read this thread):

Just thought I'd put out a PSA that these keys appear to no longer be valid for anyone. :(
