Why aren't they on Steam?? Sony Exclusive?? Studio die out?? Whatever happened to that series anyways. I remember that was like my favorite Playstation series in the 90's. I think I remember they made one for the PS2 and they just died out after that. Wish they were on steam so I could have a nostalgia trip.

Yes. I loved it even though you're a stealthy spy in the game, most of the time you had to go guns blazing but the game had the most wonkiest AI ever.

There are other playstation games on steam, so it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

And in some manner, FFVII and FFVIII.

Those are all computer games, released on PC at or near the same time as console (just like most games that are cross platform).

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee

Oddworld: Abe's Exodus

Final Fantasy VII

Final Fantasy VIII

Both FF, while originally being released on playstation (a year or so later it came to pc), they were pretty much ported over to the pc, later down the road, some adjustments occured and both games were delivered on steam.

I think psychonauts might be part of this list aswell, i did search for more games and psychonauts is the only thing i was missing.

Both Oddworlds were originally released in console, couple years later both of them came to pc. I was a fan of this franchise on playstation.

So that's possibly 5 total games, there could be more... i don't know.

Those are in no way PS exclusives and Oddworld came out for PC before they made it to consoles.

I played one of the titles for playstation, can't remember exactly, i was too young back then.

I just remember playing in a train station or something similiar. That's the only image i have left of this game.

Speaking of old playstation games, spyro/crash bandicoot series should also be added to steam, amazing games imo, good memories.

I don't think Sony would ever release their first party titles on steam. Japanese publishers tend to not be very forward-thinking, but damn if it's not a shame.

Sony doesn't own Crash or Spyro.

The good Crash Bandicoot games (1-3, original kart) were published by Sony and released exclusively for the PS One and Sony Playstation network. They might not own the IP, but they could be sitting on the distribution rights for those games exclusively. Can't say the same about Spyro, not very familiar with it.

Hashtag RealTalk, I never beat any of the Lian Xing stealth levels as a kid. Her levels were SO challenging, especially that one Afghanistan? level in 3 where you had no ammo. Goddamn, those games were so good. The first levels in Syphon Filter 2 are still some of my favorites, and I'll always hold the very first Syphon Filter 3 level dearly (don't even know how many times I've beaten it, but I never stopped having fun with it).

Absolutely remember it. It was one of my favorite series' from the moment it debuted. It was so much fun. That and Tenchu are two series' I would love to see return "next gen" although the 360 Tenchu game was trash. I'm surprised Syphon Filter hasn't been continued. It was a big seller for Sony back in the day.

It really didn't aged well, also Splinter Cell and Metal Gear series made it obsolete.
