Greetings all. So My new year's resolution was to create more puzzles, and this week's puzzle is a wordplay puzzle turning on Spooonerisms.
I hope you enjoy it, and I hope it gets more entries than last week's puzzle. The prize this week is From Dust.

Anyhow The puzzle is called "Hunting Lie and Hoe" and it can be found here:
http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/Uj9n2KJi

It runs until next Monday evening at 11pm GMT.

You are looking for two words which, if spoonerised, give opposites.
So Lie and Hoe are Spoonerised opposites, so that when you spoonerise them you get High and Low.
Similarly, the Spoonerised opposite of Lore is Mess, because Lore and Mess spoonerised, becomes More and Less.

Ohhh, ok, so I look vertical and horizontal.
Yes, I see part of Q1 now :)

edit: Got Q1 :D

Is it correctly understood, then, that the two words in each question have nothing to do with each other?
For instance the example question Lie Mess had the answer Hoe Lore because Lie and Hoe were paired, and Lore and Mess were paired, but the two pairs have nothing to do with each other.

Exactly Right. Each question is two unrelated Spoonerised antonyms.
So the example Lie Mess gives the answer Hoe Lore, because Lie matches Hoe (High and Low) and Mess matches Lore (Less and More), but Lie and Mess have nothing necessarily in common. This was my way to get past the 20 question limit in itstoohard.

Logic Puzzles, Mathematical or Number Puzzles, Real World Puzzles - Based on Physics or the physical world.

Also, I'll may give it a try but I don't think to know English so well that I could solve it ç_ç

Dude...I'm stuck on Q2, lol. I solved it twice, but incorrect. Tried one pronunciation of Lead, now I'll try the other meaning I guess :/

That's how I feel on the other 7...it's hard not to get fixated on one possible solution and see others. And it's not even like you start getting them and then they're suddenly easy...quite the puzzle. :\

Yea, got a few more, but again I found 2 incorrect solutions that work, I'm too smart for this :P

Sorry m3rc, I know of one question which has multiple solutions, but was not aware of other problems. Message me. If there is anything wrong, I actively want to fix this.

I think it was my mistake, I made a letter disappear. It's late and my English is good, but not this good.
If I do catch something I'll let you know.

Down to half of 9, 10, half of 11, half of 13 and half of 16...fairly stumped now.

EDIT: I think I got the first halves of all of them now, just the second halves of 9/10/11/13/16 left...I think.

Yes, 13b is actually the one I am least happy with in the whole shebang. Sorry about that.

I'd actually like an elder futhark puzzle because I know a thing or two about the runes lol but I mostly prefer logic puzzles, despite not being the greatest at them.

And bump for solved - wonderful puzzle! :D

Oh, and to answer the poll properly - I prefer wordplay (obviously), and logic puzzles. Math can be great, but it depends on the math - ordinary math, algebra and geometry are all good, patterns and number-play can be fun but can get too obscure for me and advanced math is beyond my interest. :) Obfuscation and language/encoding can be fun too, if they're not TOO hard. I get bored with quizzes for the most part, as I rarely know the answers, so it's pretty much an exercise in Google-foo. Not sure what "real world" would be like - sounds interesting.

I think I like mathematical and logic puzzles equally ... so I had to vote "mathematical" up there because right now, logic doesn't need my vote ;)
Just wanted to get that off my chest. Now, let's have a look at that puzzle ...

Ok ... took another go at this and I'm still missing three (10, 11 and 18). This is really hard and I'm not sure I'll get the rest :/ ... I'm done for now, but I'll definitely return again :)

Well 11B and 13B seem by far to be the toughest (which probably means that they are the least fair). So I am adding significant hinting to those two. As well as to 2A, which also seems to be causing some trouble.

Ahhh... It is pronounced \ˈrä-mən\ or like RAH - MEN but with the second syllable having the schwa so it sounds like it should be spelled Romin
