Shuu! Shuu! People who are after giveaways! Shuu! We all know I don't do that! (Well, now you do)

I'm looking for games that are OFFICIALLY and LEGALLY free.

It all happened when I was looking at the new Hate Plus and it's prequel Analogue, I didn't really had the money to buy the games (having in mind I didn't had the money to buy the Pewdiepie 1$ bundle, much less this), but I found out it had a freeware prequel called Digital: A Love Story. So I decided to give a try. And I liked it a lot. I honestly wasn't expecting to have much fun with free games, but I guess I was wrong.

So I was thinking, what other free games are fun and cool to play? Sure, we all know Edmund's games from The Basement Collection are all free, but I actually like to throw money at that guy's face, so I bought that one anyways.

And please... No MMO or MOBAS.

Soldat. It's a 2D sidescrolling multiplayer shooter with very interesting gameplay. The community is kinda dead right now, but it will be picking back up in the near future. You should try it out.

Here you go http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=851573

It's a list of all the games on Steam that are free.

Not sure how regularly it gets updated, haven't checked it in some time

I honestly liked Digital more than Analogue. Analoge is still good, though, you should play it if you liked Digital.

Also, for free games, I usually read this RPS column.

Hope this helps!

The first 2 TES games and GTA games, also The Suffering and Area 51. The last 2 you can get on softpedia since there is no website available anymore.
Also, check the FreeBundle website.
