I've recently been using it. And like.. I don't know if all the sites it links to for 'coins' are safe. :c

As far as the video offers go, you can just start the video then skip to the end of it, and still get the points for it. You don't have to watch the whole thing, just the beginning and end.

It didn't work for me. Such a waste.

Some of the achievements (to earn coins) don't work. Also, they sometimes lose your coins during server problems.

I think it's funny that people with thousands upon thousands of comments and giveaway entries here on SG say it's a waste of time. Of course it is, but so is Steamgifts and any other giveaway site. If you stay away from fishy offers (where you have to register with phone number etc or where you have to download programs) it's a pretty good site. On my first day I earned enough points within 20 minutes to 'buy' three bundle games I wanted to have. Not bad I'd say.

fishy ones sometimes pay out, if you give them a number to a joke line, and download ones usually dont pay out but sometimes do, you just download it on vmware :3

They're quite good if you only want one or two games in a bundle and don't fancy paying for the rest.

The site isn't worth if it you have a job as it's way below minimum wage. If you don't have a job or can't get one, or you just have tons of free time and don't mind boredom it's a useful way to pick up some extra games (though, again, not remotely efficient at all).

As others have said the download offers are full of malware if you do them normally. However, if you use a program like Sandboxie they're fairly safe. I've done a ton of them since I joined the site earlier in the year and haven't seen anything leak out yet.

Yes but don't count on getting any games in the near future,it's painfully slow.Unless you do offers, but most of them are really not worth it

Take a lot of what is said in this thread with a grain of salt. I remember when I first found out about Tremor (through this site) some of the regulars swore that the site was a total scam. It was obvious that none of them knew that for sure. They said the same thing about other sites that aren't SG.

I've picked up just over 70 games through Tremor. About 25 of those were non-bundle games. And I did it in my spare time at work. My job just has far too much down time.

The video offers are fine for generating coins. The best way to generate coins though is the Crowdflower tasks. That's where the top earners all get the majority of their coins. Problem is Tremor has the lowest average payout out of nearly all CF related sites. It's better to sign up to another site (Neobux, Clixsense) and then just withdraw the money into a Paypal account. Then you can simply buy the games & bundles. That's why I stopped using Tremor. Though their task system is fine for the people that for some reason can't have a Paypal or Payza account.

The other offers are really hit and miss. That's a problem with the offer system itself, and it's widespread through all similar sites. The daily survey was the only one I bothered with consistently, since the link is safe and it always paid out.

They could have a lot of those games in the form of Steam Gifts. Or they could've already traded them away. Nothing says that you have to actually activate the stuff you buy from Tremorgames.

I tried it today, did some app downloads to my ipod, got a bundle of saints row 2, saints row 3, risen 2, and sacred 2 for 20 minutes of "work."

probably won't continue to use the site right now, (my backlog is huge,) but not bad if you do the right offers and buy the right rewards.

The app downloads for iPhone/iPad/Android are very efficient. Download a few free apps and have enough for some decent stuff in no time at all.

I always feel like threads like this might encourage people to post referrals. Since the question was answered months ago, and the thread will remain searchable for anyone else interested, I'm closing it to be on the safe side.
