Any Borderlands fan here holding out on Borderlands Pre-Sequel?

people were sayin that the devs said the game would come out at around $39.99 since they use practically the same stuff from BL2 so when they came out at $60 bucks im sure not gonna buy it then for myself. I'm not necesarilly waiting for GOTY but I am waiting for a price drop, and I'm also for "supporting the devs" but im pretty sure not as much expense was spent at making this game so ill wait for a major price drops before I support them. Ill prob wait for it to drop to $30 before I go in then a sale so I can buy the DLC with it

I bought Pre-Sequel for $8.66 on Game.co.uk, there was an error instead of Borderlands 2 ppl got PreSequel, I'm a big fan of Borderlands series, played a lot all the games(the first outside Steam, because I was on Mac before, even if I had the game on Steam, but it wasn't for Mac on Steam, only on App Store), played over 180h the second(still lots of stuff left to do), and over 55h Pre Sequel and still paying. I own all DLC except all $1 cosmetic DLCs(except I own the ones for Mechromancer)

Pre-Sequel is a good game, but for the price which I spent, same graphics as second, but better optimized game, gameplay is the same, slag is replaced by ice, some minor things improved, now your character interacts with the story and talk to the ppl too, but more glitches and bugs, if you are a fan of the series you will like it, but is better waiting for Complete Edition. But Borderlands 2 was a lot better.

Also are you sure that Pre-Sequel was nominated GotY? Because I don't think so.

Exact same here. I'm even holding off on the GOTY version of BL2 since I haven't even completed BL1 yet

EDIT: I'm also hoping they'll release an ultimate edition of BL2 or something...
