Good news, but actually looking at the offers now I'm kind of tempted by some. Will think about it, but putting it towards South Park, Ethan Carter or Spintires could be options.

Yeah, I'm thinking about the same thing. Get Valiant hearts for free or use it to get an even bigger discount on something else.... Decisions can be so stressful!

Don't go for Spintires, it's a very good game if you like playing in the mud, but customer service is awful and ignorant. Every time they update the game you will lose all your data, and have to start all over again.

so its free, butttttttt you can go fuck yourself if your not already a part

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Lots of sites do that. Even on Steam, there have been free games that required you to be part of a group (Midnight Club 2 and Payday: The Heist, along with a pile of the vote to get titles).

Doesn't mean it isn't free, just that they are doing it for those who have actually cared about them before a free game.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Not really. Neither Hatoful Boyfriend nor Gods Will be Watching is free. Get Games newsletter subscribers got 300 points and can use them to buy these games or others. So the title is misleading.

I'm not apologising for anything, you called me "brain dead" and "dipshit" for no reason and gave me false feedback on top of that. Support will already sort it out, no worries. I hope your suspension is going to be worth it.

As a matter of fact, if YOU apologise to ME and remove that feedback, I just might close the support tickets for false feedback and insulting.

I got my 300 points. As far as I can see you needed an account AND to be subscribed to the newsletter. If you didn't get the e-mail saying you have 300 points then you weren't subscribed I guess...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I've been getting e-mails from them once in a week or so so it means I WAS subscribed. And had an account there. But I didn't get any latest e-mail informing me about this stuff. It's a mess. Meh, I don't care anyway.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Several other people in this thread seem to be saying the same thing so it appears there was some other requirement that wasn't mentioned in the e-mail - possibly something to do with minimum purchases, I've bought several games from them. Or it could be a regional thing. Or maybe Get Games just have no idea what they were doing and it was random.

Sorry you didn't get the 300 points.

In Get Games case your account is created when making your first purchase so it makes sense for them to reward paying customers as they are a store. With playfire its more about inflating the number of users to make them look good.
