Hi guys,

I'm just curious if you bought any of your games for full price, and if yes, which one(s)?

I bought all of my games from sales, bundles, or got them from free promotions.

Most recent boxed one at full price would be Aliens Colon Maweens, most recent full-price digital one would be...Spintires, I guess.

back when SimCity 4 was just released (I was a high school freshman then), I bought a retail copy of SimCity 3000 for full price, but it was already a heavily discounted "EA Classics" labeled game. Today, however, I haven't bought a game on full price, though I may consider pre-ordering The Witcher 3.

Torchlight 2, On The Rain Slick: Precipice of Darkness Episode 1 & 2, Magicka, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. But I didn't bought it off on my own steam account but asked someone with steam wallet to buy them off for me and send them as gift. I paid the man in full blown cash.

On consoles and handhelds I preorder most games I am interested in if it comes out while I own the system. But that is mostly because those games don't tend to get price drops before they become impossible to find so I may as well enjoy it when it comes out and enjoy being able to gush about the game on the message boards on GameFAQs while I can.

On Steam, I've paid full price for Ys Origin and Oath in Felghana, worth every penny with the massive amount of playtime I've gotten from them. I've also paid full price for some games that looked like fun and were not expensive or had devs I'd like to support. Like I had no issue with paying full price for Blackwell Epiphany. The games are fun and I got the rest of their games for very little in a bundle, so I had no issue buying their newest game at full price to support them.

Of the top of my head:
AC4
Thief
Xcom the shitty 3rd person shoter one
The Forest
Amnesia the pig one
Outlast and it's DLC
Daylight
other horror ones...
A bunch of early access, kickstarter, etc like Star Citizen and Kingdom Come: Deliverance wich is kinda of full price since I paid 45$ on each.
And many others though I belive I've bought more games full priced to giveaway than for myself and since I got late to the steam scene most games I bought full priced before were non steam.

All Blizzard games (Starcraft 1, Diablo 2+LOD, Warcraft 3+Frozen Throne, Starcraft 2, World of Warcraft and all expansions up to Pandas). I no longer play any of them but I don't regret purchasing any of it as I consider them one of the best games I've played to date.

As for Steam, it would be CSGO (pre-ordered), Half-Life 2, Orange Box (Back when TF2 wasn't F2P)
