GOG definitely doesn't do the ultra-low pricing that Steam bundles hit. There's no doubt about that.

I'm a little bummed I purchased Sam & Max and Indiana Jones for 50% discount a few weeks ago during their last sale, but such is life. Sales come and go, and so does my money. :p

They are actually good price for a sale, which is what this is. It's not the same as a "pay-what-you-want" type of bundle.
They simply offer a better discount if you buy a bunch of games together, like the packs on Steam.

I find GOG bundles far better than Steam's. On Steam you have to buy all the games if you want the bundle price even if you already own some of them, and you don't even get an extra copy of the duplicates to give away (with rare exceptions). On GOG you get the full bundle price even when buying one single game if it's the only one in the bundle you don't already own. And if you do add games you already own to the order then they get the full bundle discount and you get a gift code, so it's the best of both worlds.

What do they mean when they say the tower is growing every day? Are they just releasing new bundles or are they creating some kind of mega-bundle with all of these smaller bundles combined?

My guess is they are releasing new bundles, or game packs each day. This is how GoG has run in the past. Usually they have all or most of the bundles available during the last day(s) for one last chance to snag them.

Also, this is the first time Broken Sword 5 has been included meaning every release is available here. Combine that with the fact that the first 2 come with the original versions and the remakes makes this the full package. So tempting...

So bad it's not for Steam. I buy it instantly if that was the case.
I know it's DRM free, but I just... I don't know, I want all on Steam.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the Steam versions of the first 2 games contain the original versions. I believe they're only the remake/director's cut versions.

But I understand. Some people want everything from Steam, some only want DRM-free, some only want physical copies of games altogether. I say it's the buyer's money and opinion, so s/he may do as desired. ^-^

Of course, and that is part of the point. I already have 1/2/3 on Steam, and want the 2 originals and 4/5.
Steam does not have the originals and the dub on my language is deleted. (I don't know why they do that, it's just stupid)
But... I already have more than 1000 games. At this point it's simply for organization.

Sorry to hear about the language deletion. That's a bummer.

Well, hopefully 4 and 5 see a nice sale this summer and you can pick them up.

You can place the shortcut in steam so that you run it off of steam like everything else.

But you need it installed. And if in the future I want to download it again I need to go to another page and do all the job again.
And of course the Steam adds, time played and all tha shit.

I know it's stupid, but It's my choice.

I'm somehow hoping for a discount on IWD: EE.

I would love to see a BG:EE, BGII:EE, and IWD:EE bundle show up.

That would be even better, but i'm more interested in IWD because i feel that playing the Baldur's Gate saga in multiplayer, without the npc interactions, takes away a big part of the story. I'll still get the whole bundle if that happens. :p

The Penumbra games are great.. and they were even better using my Novint Falcon 3d Volumetric force feedback mouse thingy (now defunct unfortunately). Getting to feel the space and the weight of objects and the texture of walls was amazing.
