Will you buy this?
Hello :) I'll copy across all the hints and info I have shared so far for you guys!
1 - This bundle has 10 games, 8 normal games, 2 bonus titles. When the bundle launches, it will be Build a Bundle format.
2 - 5 Games are Linux
3 - 3 are Greenlight but some of the other devs have expressed that they would greenlight in the future off the back of the Bundle.
4 - All new to bundles
5 - The 8 main games - Theres a Multiplayer based Horizontal Shu'mp (Found as Lord of Djinn). A classic-DOS Style RPG (Found by Reddit as Epikos), A poker-spin puzzley sort of game, A messabout game (think in the same sort of area as genre as goat sim), A Tower Defense title, A puzzle game (the devs have 2 games already on steam), a musical platformer and a artistic wordy adventure game (Not a text adventure game but words do have something to do with it).

Now i feel bad for not wanting to buy it, because DRM free is the best way and the "freedom" way to get games, but we are all caught in the Steam Web.

I love itch.io, but mainly as a supplement to GL games or for really good open source and donation-based games. It's taken the place of the defunct Desura for finding lots of cool cheap games, but I'm not as sure about wanting a mostly DRM-free bundle unless it's GOG.

6 - No digital homicide
Seems to me to be the best thing about the bundle

Epikos & Fragile Soft Machines look really interesting. Epikos for the nostalgia factor (anyone who has played early Ultima games will know this twinge of yesteryear compelling them to hit the buy button). Fragile Soft Machines for what looks like (potentially) innovative use of text entry prompts -- I think this will be an important aspect in future game development, in which player-generated language (text or voice-based) that is used and parsed in interesting ways will extend the immersion and interactivity of gaming in totally new ways. Especially with VR on the horizon, I see voice-based commands being especially pertinent for the not-too-distant future.
Also, just wanna say that as a big DRM-Free advocate, I'm primarily interested in gaming experiences and don't feel obliged to lock myself to a platform. If a game interests me and I have hardware capable of playing it, I'm going to buy it and play it! I would hope that others might feel similarly, that if a game looks highly compelling to you but for some reason is not offered on your platform of choice but you still have hardware that can actually play it, you would put the actual gaming experience first and foremost. I find that when I play games in this fashion, purely for my own satisfaction, I end up enjoying the experience a lot more.
This doesn't apply of course if none of the games seem interesting to you. I have no issue with collectors, we all have our particular hobbies, and I have several large collections of various things. But if a game looks good to you and you won't buy it because it's not tied to the Steam platform, I think that is a very detrimental attitude to have and one that gives Valve too much control of your gaming freedom and playing thought processes.

Pre-ordered before it went live. Am I the only one not having keys for Lord of Djinn and YY Slider?

But it's an "Itch.io" bundle and it has "itch.io" icon next to those games meaning there should be Itch.io keys for them too, just like for the rest.

So, with the $0.50 minimum for the weekend, are any of these worth getting?
