I know skins exist, and there are at least a few popular ones, but I haven't really used any. I haven't really noticed any particular advantage of third-party skins over the default one. From screenshots, they do look different and sometimes relocate information, but you can still do pretty much all the same stuff. Is there any practical advantage to other skins? Or is it really all just personal preference on the appearance?

I use Enhanced Steam by TDD, I've been using it for years, I can't stand the way any other skins looks, they just feel "wrong".

I like the way it looks normal, skins tend to look bad to me honestly....

I've been working on my own skin recently ( http://i.imgur.com/hjXvQkN.png ), and I've been kinda curious about what other people use, so I can compare/contrast the things done to change stuff up.
When I'm not developing/using my own, I'm a biiiiiiiiiig fan of Metro for Steam. It's a simple look, but it's nicely organized.
