I've spent a couple of hours in it before my old computer fried. I found the gameplay quiet enjoyable.

I like it. I think it's worth it, I enjoyed it a lot when I played it. It's a bit different and if you're alright with reading a lot, then I think you should try it out!

It's pretty amazing. Very dry and kinda uninteresting at first, but it's part of the way the story serves you with a big revelation; it gets really interesting later on though. Actually, I say you should check out the whole series. They're all really immersive, and are better than even some of the best japanese VNs like Steins;Gate.

Well, I know it's all subjective and all... but at least Analogue didn't follow stupid tropes that are usually associated with the genre, and it had a much more involving and interesting story. S;G was much more refined only by technical means, such as the lots of written content, the well animated and drawn sprites, the cutscenes, CGs, etc... but then there's analogue which was developed by an indie, and didn't have such funding behind it. Both games have unique gameplay elements, otherwise rarely seen in other visual novels, so at least they pretty much are on the same level, regarding the overall experience.

And while I could see most of Steins;Gate's plot twists coming from miles ago, and felt that the game just thought I was stupid not to see it, Analogue's pretty much only meaningful plot twist was delivered in a way that I was genuinely shocked. That being said, I love both of them, it's just that I love the Analogue trilogy a bit more than Steins;Gate. Especially Digital, that one was so goddamn sweet.

I'm not even very familiar with visual novels, but I have it and I enjoyed it quite thoroughly. If you have any interest in it, I would recommend it.
