Really fun game. If you liked D2 then you'll enjoy this. Like others have said the skill tree really is epic. Plus the gem leveling and all that is sweet too.

It's the best Diablo-eque game that i've ever played
has the potential to be a lot better than diablo 3
The game is still a bit buggy, but the Skill gem system and the skill tree are amazing
Your class only determines the place in the skill tree you start out in and your look
Everything is interconnected so you could expand to anywhere you want on the map
It is the most flexible skill tree i've ever seen

Amazingly fun game, I've got a 44 witch pyro-necromancer, and many other 15-20's,got into closed beta about 2 months before it ended and very glad I did

Don't know about you but I've never seen a skill system that works the way this one does for example. Nor a skill tree that works the way this one does either.

I wasn't talking about the skill system. I just mean in general. It doesn't do anything for me. Just because a game has a big skill tree doesn't mean it's a granted reason for everyone to like a game.
The first thing that put me off was that the classes have set genders. I like to have the ability to choose my own gender. This is something a lot of ARPGs give me, so there's really no excuse not to have female/male options. I hated that with Diablo 2 and still do. Especially if it's advertised as sort of an MMO. Perhaps this will change when the game goes out of beta.
The UI looks bland to me, the graphics too. Sure, it's a free game so I can't expect much of it. But saying it's what Diablo 3 should have been? To me, that's a nope. I'll give it another try when it's out of beta. Maybe I will change my mind.

I didn't say that just because it's big you should like it. I didn't even mention the size. You said it has nothing you've never seen before, and I personally never saw a skill tree that was shared by all classes and allowed for so much customization.
It has it's flaws, sure, just like every game. I, for example, hate the way armors look. I want to look badass when using high tier armor, so far I'm level 50-ish and look like a bum. I don't care for genders though but I understand. I have no issues with the UI and the graphics look pretty good imo.
As for being what D3 should have been, well, that's just opinion based. I enjoyed D3 and played for about 100 hours before getting bored, but this game does feel a lot like D2, and I'm definitely enjoying it more than D3.
