"We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games. Why? Because it allows us to promote our games more freely, as we are doing here! We rely on the ability to promote our games for our livelihood and control over pricing is an important tool for this purpose."

For the last week of May (May 24 through June 1) our games will be deeply discounted to celebrate online stores that give us control over pricing: The App Store, Google Play, Steam, and a few others.

Android games are not discounted for my region, it seems. Thanks for nothing, devs.

EDIT - Investigating further, it seems some ARE and some AREN'T. So, thanks for nothing SOME devs. And thanks devs who want me to support them.

So far prices haven't changed on Steam but if they do I'll be picking up Avadon and Uplink, and maybe Dungeons of Dredmor.

Yea I've always wanted to play Braid since I saw gameplay of it when it first came out on 360 but I never got around to it. And Rochard was creating quite the buzz and it looks like a game I'd enjoy. I'm just wondering when Steam will reflect these prices, my purchase finger is itching!

They're both $3.99 in the US as well ($4.80 for the combo pack). I was looking forward to The Baconing for $2.99, but it's $6 on steam... not impressed.

They haven't fixed the North American prices on that yet, either. Still coming up as $4.80 USD for the bundle.

Will probably just get SYNSO direct, a few android ones, though not sure about the Dejobaan Complete Pack. (is $8 fine?)

Also will likely pick up The Binding of Isaac Finally after a long long time.

The Other stores has some games I have never heard of though so will probably look through them

Bought Binding of Isaac and Dungeons of Dredmor with DLC (surprisingly it's cheaper to buy them separately than in pack...) I was little disappointed that I had to pay in euro but still 60% discount is nice ^^
Also bought Anomaly Warzone Earth directly from producer for 3.99$ instead of 4 euro on steam as you get steam key, DRM-free versions + soundtrack.

Penny Arcade is listed as cheaper than it is when I try to buy it on Steam. Sadface.

Not on steam but "Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten", in the direct section, is an awesome game.

It's a tower-defence type game with RPG elements, haven't seen it done this well in any other game before. There's also a "gold" edition coming out soon, and anyone that buys the game now gets a free upgrade to that version when it gets released.

There's a demo on kongregate: demo

The full version should currently last you a good ~20 hours, more if you take your time. The future gold edition is going to feature a new game+ mode, with extra sidequests, upgradeable items, and modified enemies/battles to significantly up the difficulty, among other things.

Some details on the gold edition: Gold Edition info
