The community is not much different from CoD players even though it's suppose to be "mature" hardcore game which takes skill to play but in reality it's infested with kids and teens who pretend to be pros and scream at you when u do something wrong. I mean for gods sake this is just a game and you people act like your whole life depends on it. Go outside and chill out cuz you've gone mad as fuck.

I have CS:GO because i bought it cheap on sale, my golden age of online gaming passed after i passed the 30 years of age, from that point i don't have the same reflexes so these games (competitive fps) are not for me and i don't have fun playing them anymore, im turning casual year after year cause the responsibilities of real life. I raged my self in the past for the same reasons of you and with the time i left them behind and i don't care anymore.

What i have to say, OP, are you sure CS:GO is for you?

The above post is only my thoughts of myself and don't comply to everyone.

click TAB > right click on annoying player > mute = done.

it's not just cs:go, every popular game out there must have a portion of fools and trolls and .. kids as well, don't take anyone seriously and just move on, don't give anyone any of your time, try to have a good game and that's all, no one matters.

The problem with this statement is that in simplifies the "community". Especially the title of the post. Maybe you're trying to make a point, or a reasonamble statement, but it just looks like trolling. Acting like one of those people, who're infesting chats of multiplayer games and make everyone upset. It just seems like you're the one, who's really salty and just looks for any place to spill your salt - I mean, this isn't CS community center, of forums. If you're tyring to do something reasonable, you're using the wrong tools, my friend. My recommendation would be to go eat a cookie with a glass of milk or cup of tea, and rethink what you're trying to tell people, and why.

exaggeration and gross generalizations aside, the CS:GO community does leave a lot to be desired. if it wasn't for friends and bots (lol) I wouldn't play at all :p

I give advice in voice, and tell them they are retards in chat, but only when I am leading the score. If I play bad that day I only give info here and there. I've seen some noob kids that scream in the voice chat, but I mute them after a few rounds, but in 500 hours less than 10 guys. Haven't played CoD. In DOTA 2, I am around 4k MMR so, not so many retards there.

Hopefully, I don't have to deal with people speaking in other languages (maybe portuguese, but that's it) and I haven't played with many kids, but there are a lot of "grown-ups" who act like children, yelling and insulting everyone who doesn't do what they want, or get killed before they do. This is very similar to my brief experiencie with MOBAs.

Also, gotta hate the matches filled with Argentinians and Brazilians, they yell each other the whole match, making it uncomfortable to be there (btw, is there any way to mute the voices).

That's from casual games, I wonder how bad is it at competitive :S

Maybe rank up from silver/nova and you will run into better players.
And dont play competitive if you dont know how and then blame them for yelling at you.

Reason I mainly play Single Player games now, most multiplayer matches have terrible people, in order to find and stick with a good group of people takes to much effort and time.

Just wish AI would get better, come on guys, F.E.A.R is still on top and that was YEARS ago....ugh...everyone wants better graphics and all I want is better damn AI.

its taken you 191 hours to come to this conclusion?
Honestly I don't think its that bad. Also i don't blame ppl for getting a little upset in a competitive match when they're investing on average 60 minutes of their time in a match, and it is annoying when ppl that don't have any idea of whats going on play competitive, there's plenty of other modes to play. I don't have anywhere near as many hours as you but i've only had one person be extremely hostile towards me, and that was mostly because i got the drop at the end of the match.

Play some Search & Destroy in CoD and you will see the same angry kids yelling at you.
Never forget something, you will never be a pro. Just play the game and have fun the way you want.
