I am fairly convinced the winner of my giveaway is a bot. What do i do?

That's like 50 a day? The average person could enter that number and still have time to add thank you comments all in under 5 minutes I guess.

From most of the comments here, it would seem that these numbers are completely normal.

Let's add some math to prove the point.

Using my own numbers: 173315/(365,24*8) = ~59,31 entries per day. Considering the average giveaway costs 5-10 points to enter, and you generate 400 points in much less than a day (I believe you generate 24 points per hour so it's over 500 per day), this is very plausible over the long run. I check the site at least twice daily and rarely ever hit point cap which means they are constantly accumulating and being used efficiently.

Using purely entries as a measure, you have absolutely no way of accusing anyone of being a bot since the only requirement for constantly spending your points would be to regularly check the site, and even if you have no time to browse you could easily enter some random public giveaways. And while purists may occasionally heckle people for it, it's completely rational to be spending all your points when they're available.

To play devil's advocate, it would also be incredibly easy for a bot to intentionally enter less giveaways, add delays to its actions and occasionally let points spill just to remove suspicion from itself. Without being able to observe it meticulously over a longer period you'd have no chance of knowing for sure.

EDIT: To actually answer your question, though, in the hypothetical scenario that you encounter users in the future that you have more solid evidence of being a bot, you would likely report them through a support ticket and wait for them to take care of it. However, until a resolution is found, you must still give them the benefit of the doubt and adhere to the rules for giveaway delivery within 7 days if nothing else has happened. If they somehow did get found guilty and suspended within those 7 days, you would have the right to reroll the giveaway.

I think it's safe to say that you can't really judge if someone is a bot or not by the number of giveaways they've entered. At least by the feedback you've gotten here so far with other's numbers.
