I have keys, plan on keeping them until this happens, but I'm hyped to it anyway

I doubt they're going to crash if Valve takes 5% from every transaction while with keys there are none. At first they'll take a dip in value but will climb back up after people realize it wasn't that great of a system for trading. You may think 5% is nothing but people are willing to save every penny they can.

Valve takes 15% from Keys on Market - you pay €1.8 for key, but for most of your business partners they will be worth around €1.5.

You are wrong. 5% is very generous in comparison with fees on the market in this moment

Well, I sold 37 keys just to be safe. They're selling at almost $2.50 right now, so even after fees I'm not losing out. Good time to sell off any excess ones and just keep a handful for small trades.

Better than having the floor fall out on you while holding 50 keys.

For me it seems a bit not-legit, as the "ok" and the "cancel" button are in an awkward position...could come from the dev-version though

Well Valve promised this feature back at their Dev Days this year, didn't they? But I didn't expect it could come this soon.

It will not be a smart move for them as this will increase trading and people getting games cheaper instead of buying directly from their region.

Unless they region lock the trading even more.
