Every new game costs 50-60 € $ £ or whatever.. After some time ( 5-7 months) they drop/go on sale/have a free weekend or so.. And when they are cheap enough for you then a Call of Duty 2,123,445 comes out.. and guess what? it costs 50-60 € $ £

It's been like this my entire life. I'm 28. Pay more attention. The only ways out are to buy indie games or wait a few months. There are more indie games now than there were 5 years ago, so things are getting better! Again, pay attention.

Your statement is false. FTL was 10€ on release, CS:GO 15€(?) and CoD:Blops2 is 60€

you forgot all season passes, now every new game make season passes, and deluxe andor pre pruchase versions that include an extra stupid useless things normally. Like a mission in AC3 or useless Tf 2 hat + old useless 5$ game in Dishnored pre order.

6 months later you can get them for 12.5$, So i do not see the issue here.

That's why I time travel into the future, I get to buy games cheaper!

Just buy damn retail box versions, not steam.

There are plenty of indie games + old SNES games were almost all 170 Dutch guilders which is over 77 euros.

Lucky you who didn't buy games in the early years of gaming.

Not every - most indie games are around 10€, some are even free (not to mention FLOSS games). You don't have to play what the big greedy studios publish. Also you don't have to buy that when it's so costly, wait 1-2 years and even the 50€ games will cost 5-10€.

And remember - you don't have enough life left to play and finish every free game that is out there! :-)

Never paid that much for a PC game and never will. Not paying more than 15eu.
