What is your favorite soundtrack from a game?

My favorite was the music from Chrono Cross.

Other than that, I love the games with old music like Bioshock or Fallout.

Edit: How could I possibly forget the Deus Ex games (or really just about anything from Eidos).

Anything from Legacy of Kain, really

Skies of Arcadia or Final Fantasy Adventure.

I still listen to a lot of Final Fantasy 7 tracks... both the original MIDI versions and the remastered orchestra stuff.

Metal Gear series soundtracks are fabulous, and between my favorites is Crysis 2's soundtrack too!
Ah, and Frozen Synapse's soundtrack is badass!

Bastion and Freedom Fighters are my top favourites.

Also great: Hitman series, Beyond Good and Evil, Mother 3, Machinarium.

The main theme for Max Payne 2 is sad, dramatic and simply beautiful.
There's also the Hollywood theme from Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines which just sounds cool. :)

Chrono Trigger, by far.
Stacraft 2 have some cool soundtracks too.

Oh, Rock n' Roll Racing have a really good soundtrack too, lol.

I don't usually notice the games soundtrack. To me that means it's doing it's job. The soundtrack is supposed to make you feel something, and usually the music and the game are a seamless experience for me. I don't notice the music, but if it wasn't there or it was bad, i would notice. I've noticed the Morrowind theme music, and most of the music from Oblivion though. Probably because i played Oblivion for 500 hours...
