finally, one thing valve did right recently.

on a serious note, this is not a proof for valve pulled it from store. it is most likely licence issue.

It was an enjoyable stealth game. Not nearly enough of those available.

but come on. you can't justify that price tag. if it was around $5, sure i might pick it up despite whole negative stuff i said. :/ activision is kraazyy i'm telling you.

Most of the time it was out, it had regional pricing, and was $20 (base price) here. I traded away so many copies during the 80% / 75% sales.

+1

Activision doesn't pay to extend their licence, since they know nobody with brain will buy it, so paying for licence will cost more than money people will pay for it.

More likely the license expired and Activision just stopped selling it like they did with other games?

I had a feeling it was coming since they were both 80% last week. Activision wanted one last swing at money.

It was actually an enjoyable stealth game. Pity too many people wrote it off as a typical Activision cookie cutter FPS. Playing in such a way was a quick trip to the afterlife.

Wasn't too big of a fan of the game, but sad to see it gone. I was gonna hopefully get it one day.

Sooo.... should they (steam and other sellers) start (and be forced to) telling people how long a game they offer is licenced?

How long has Southpark been on? Was it even a year? I surely want to know when I pay 60€ for a game that it will be gone in some months from the store, which essentially means multiplayer is certainly going to start dying at that point?

For me (until something major changes) this also means: NEVER EVER BUY a game based on a movie/tv series/famous book again.

I'm kinda glad I picked it up then at 80%. Just snagged Family Guy for $12-ish elsewhere too. May be a mediocre licensed game, but I still wanted it. :/

I don't watch the show, read the comics or care about the Telltale games from what I played (mostly because a mess trying to get them to work). I still enjoyed SI.
