Don't forget what Gearbox did to Aliens: Colonial Marines. Their utter disrespect for both the Aliens franchise and the gaming community, both through their initial mismanagement and neglect of the property and through their later lies and attempt misdirection warrant contempt from us all.
Giving money to them is as bad or worse than giving money to EA.

Well, it may or may not be them just trying distracting us from having done bugger all on Borderlands 3 by using a half-assed and over-glorified side-story and releasing it as a full (overpriced) game. I also have my concerns that this might also be a sort of beta test of them trying to figure out how to fix their game balance (which, I gotta admit, was abysmal in Borderlands 2 :D ).
Also, some of the characters' action skills sound like they might suck ass and reek of lack of ideas (I mean, seriously, an aim bot for Nisha? Let's hope it was a false leak instead of them having lost the concept of what ISN'T fun.)
Also also, playable Claptrap. If that isn't desperation, I don't know what is.
