This month the polish CD-Action magazine has got 2 steam keys.
It's Alan Wake and Stacking. However those keys are restriced to Poland but only few know it.
Before you enter giveaway - check if the creator is from Poland otherwise you may end telling him that key isn't working.

Also, giving away restricted keys is against the rules.

Cheers, Shaditore

PS. 120 pages, 2 steam keys and drm-free games for a price of 4 euro. Poland ftw.

Just curious, but are the names of games normally not translated?

I don't think anyone ever translates game names no matter where you are. They'd sound reeeally silly if they're translated

Are you forgetting Japanese games?? They get "translated" (most of the time it's a complete name change actually) all the time.

As you can see, one name is translated (Śródziemie means Middle Earth) but generally, no, we just get English titles. Wiedźmin (Witcher) isn't even translated, it's the game's original title...

Is Stacking good? I was thinking about activating it myself.

P.S. M5LIB-QFM3P-BVK## (# are two different letters. Or is it a number?)

It has an interesting story and very unique puzzles.
Don't let the nice graphics fool you, this is not a game for children.

It's fun to play and you can solve most puzzles in different ways.

I guess why not, activated.

I really wonder if anyone will get that cd-key. Seeing how there's 1296 possibilities. Oh, wait, only 1260, as you've already excluded AA, BB, CC, (...), 99 and 00 :)

Steam allows like 5 tries before blocking you for an hour. So you're still looking at 10 days of guessing or beign lucky :P

Much less, if someone understood the hint. Numeric keyboard is of no use here.

Unless they changed it back again recently, Steam hasn't used the blocking mechanism for a very long time.

Are you sure Stacking is restricted? I couldn't find any Polish-specific entry in the database. Plus, on the cover it's the only one without the "PL" mention.

"PL" means the game on DVD is available in Polish language, it has nothing to do with region lock.

I am certainly sure that every code of this magazine is region locked to Poland.

Ok, I just find it weird that it doesn't show up in the Steam database.

This month's issue, you mean. There were cases when they had keys that could be activated in other countries.

Because when they give keys like items to Neverwinter or another MMO - then it's global.

They still had region-free keys for proper games sometimes. Case in point, this is where I got a key for my DE:HR GA.

"PS. 120 pages, 2 steam keys and drm-free games for a price of 4 euro. Poland ftw." ...and still most of us(Polish guys) will tell you that this is overpriced :P
