The original post ended up being much more interesting than I had anticipated. When I first aw it, I figured it was someone trying to troll the forums. When I clicked on it and read it, I figured it was another one of those "easy" puzzles which turn out to be a game of "read my mind." When I actually checked the puzzle, however, I found it to be quite solvable. In the end, I learned a few things, and, more importantly, was reminded never to judge a book by its cover. While I'm passing on the giveaways, I still benefited from this experience.
