At least you should reach Final Stage, 8 adventurers already got there, which means 8/10 passed through Dead End. Check the things you haven't used yet may help.

Are there any other stages? It says I reached the final stage, though I reached it the first (e.g. no toohard links beforehand).
Bonus aka Not A Hidden Stage is only for those who already reached Final Stage. Don't waste your time if you can't even find the entrance - "Here we go" is where you should start first.

No, I mean I found the secret key to a toohard puzzle, you know, the symbols. It says final stage, and I can use its link in the "Not A Hidden Stage" and it shows up as correct. But I didn't see anything about a dead end etc.

Oh, I got it. That means you missed something before reaching Final Stage, and that's why I set Q1 for. It's also a check quiz in case people go on a wrong way.
btw, if you answer the question correctly on Final Stage, the result will lead you to the giveaway directly, no more steps, that's the Final Boss.

That's part of the puzzle, without the check quiz people will use warp pipes to skip worlds, it's good for Super Mario but not for this puzzle. :P
Missing dragonballs will make the Final Stage harder. Q1 is a notice for that.

Can't even find the entrance haha accidentally i discovered the apple .text icon "hidden" text (the "think different" ad thing) and first thought was part of the puzzle :) Just to know, is the puzzle doable if I'm running OSX?
Yep, you can do it with Mac OS or even Linux, BSD etc. However, terminal mode is not recommended.

I went the wrong way and found the Final Stage before the entrance. It's very confusing. Finding the Final Stage was easy, and finding the entrance, impossible, haha.
I got some catchy music... Am I on the right track? lol

btw, 2 hours left for bonus, if you try hard there's still enough time to catch it in time.
