I'm pretty excited about it. I got a good 15-20 hours of playing, but only played a bit once the Advanced Edition was announced.

I probably won't dive back in day 1, but I'm looking forward to eventually toying around with the new content.

New HARD difficulty, I have heard that it is pretty hard already. You masochist :D

I want to try out this update. :) But i'm not sure if i will play it in the next weeks.

So is it going to be offered as DLC for FTL or what?

Am I excited? Depends on whether the Advanced Edition will be given free to everyone who owns the game, or if it's a whole new thing to buy.

Unless it makes it a little easier for those of us that suck at games, I probably wont bother with it again for a while
