I don't understand why it comes with all these OTHER games? lol strange....

Only ones I don't own are BIT.TRIP.RUNNER and SMB itself.

BIT.TRIP RUNNER is such an amazing game, ohmygod.

Wow, Half-Life 2, indie games from the humble bundles and 2 more indie games that probably weren't good enough to be in a HIB yet. Well this pack is gonna be a must-buy, surely.
Edit: Oh, yeah, forgot about SMB. Oops.

I still want SMB in a HIB :D

I don't know if SMB will ever be in a HIB. It's possible that it could be, but it seems that if they were going to do it then they would have done it already. Idea for the next bundle: Humble McMillen Bundle. Of course, this wouldn't work since both Gish and Binding of Isaac have been in previous bundles (with Gish in 2 already).

I would pay a lot for a Bastion/SMB/Recettear/Rock of Ages HIB.

Doesn't look intresting for me, because i own most of it ... :/

Games that i don't own:
Super Meat Boy,

Bit.Trip Runner

This is a great thing, but it will be the end of HiB as we know it until...at least for now. Depending on the cost of it, I would get it just for World of Goo and Super Meat Boy (I don't have World of Goo, Aquaria, Braid, Machinarium, Super Meat Boy, Bit.Trip Beat, or Bit.Trip Runner, and I'm sure that the others in that list are good, but the ones I've been after for a while are WoG and SMB).

Too much awesomeness for a single bundle! :D

I already own all the games, so I won't buy it for me, but it will certainly be a nice gift. =)

I own every single game in that bundle, and they're all worth it.

sooo... there is something connected to half life coming out and nobody put on his tinfoil hat and preached to the masses of the third coming of gordon yet?

What? Half-Life² is in the bundle only because the headcrab is a playable character in Super Meat Boy...

It's not out yet, this is from decoding the Steam registry/client.

The only one I don't have is Bit Trip Runner and I don't really want this because I read it's super hard and frustrating because of the lack of checkpoints.

Wait...it has SMB, Gish, and VVVVVV...and yet you wouldn't want one of the games because it's super hard and has a lack of checkpoints? (not that VVVVVV doesn't have checkpoints, it's there for difficulty)

The checkpoints aren't necessary at all, most of the levels in RUNNER are like one or two minutes long.

Awesome, but I own all of them. Probably won't be worth it for the soundtracks alone.

I call bullshit. Some script kiddie with his crappy software (Yes I've seen this same guy making predictions for the indieroyale and he missed every single one of them) of listing steam titles doesn't prove anything about upcoming stuff.

Fair enough statement there. I won't believe it until there is some concrete evidence that it is actually happening (but it would be pretty great if it does).

it's true. people have been using the steam registry viewer for a year+ now and it's almost always accurate. i dunno what he's talking about.

Fair enough, I actually bought that bundle because of the leaked image. I've just learned to always be skeptical about information which is obtained through a picture online (especially if it's leaked information).

It sort of does prove it.

I mean, I suppose it's possible that for some reason the pack is not happening (legal reasons or one of the devs backs out or whatever), but the subscription is definitely there, and they don't just add them for no reason.

You can download the program and see it for yourself.

1 decade ago
Permalink

The program has been out for awhile. It's basically a 'registry editor' for the clientregistry.blob file. Games that will be coming out in the future are pushed via the clientregistry.blob file first so that the client knows how to handle it one the game comes out. Since games need to be approved ahead of time, people have been using the program to see what's upcoming with the Humble Bundles because their keys encompass all the games. It doesn't work with IndieRoyale because they give out individual keys so it's not really possible to predict how those will go.

Yeah like everyone else is saying the only stuff I don't have is Super Meat Boy, Bit.Trip Beat, Bit.Trip Runner. However we don't know the price yet: If it is cheaper than those 3 combined it would still be worth buying, also there would be an extra gift copy of Half-Life 2 (for most people presumably).
