I gave it a try and i found it horrible, just the mechanics and the AI that is always faster then you. Since when you need so much energy to make a jump or to run, it ruins the game Zombies kill you like in 3-4 hits

It's ugly. Don't get me wrong, I don't prefer graphics to gameplay, I fully understand and don't mind old graphics, which is bad, pixelate, with a few polygons, etc. etc.
I like simple graphics such as Minecraft or Antichamber... But this is just ugly. :(

I can't make icecream. But I can tell when an icecream I bought is utterly terrible. The " Then do better" arguement belongs to children like under 10 years old. Don't use it in a normal arguement.

I have called people scum in real life also and online, its not a tough guy act, just because he is online doesn't mean he can't call you scum idiot.

I don't really like it. Notch made cubes okay and survival sandbox genre is really taking liking to everyone. Unturned is combination. Well, I like to enjoy some graphics while I play (obviously, it's not priority, but you shouldn't make cubes if you can do better), and I have never liked this survival thing like in DayZ or Rust. Surprisingly, I like The Forest but none of it's copies.

Ugliest game to come out in the last 5 years at least, if not more.
I like some simple graphics or retro graphics, but devs started to use that trend to have an excuse for a lazy game (like Unturned)
Overall, i think you can have some fun playing it, but the graphical quality and bugs/glitches detract a lot from the game experience.

The game is currently being made by a 16 year old, who was working on something on Roblox which was pretty popular. I doubt any of you could go from Roblox to F2P-Decent-Survival-Zombie-Game. I'm amazed at the fact that so many people are focusing on bugs/glitches and graphics when I bet that at least half of you haven't even played the game or are following up on the updates. With a 1-person team, he is clearing up quite a few bugs/glitches and adding new features at the same time. How about you try what he's doing?

I'm not even sure what we are discussing at the moment, but just so you know i saw the game on the new releases page so i didn't really need to look far and wide for it. The point I was trying to make is that he's 16. If you have high expectations, give the kid a damn break. It's 1-man team, he's 16, and it's a great game that has equivalent graphics to Minecraft that only makes their graphics look bearable by making the blocks big. It'd be reasonable to expect quality from professionals, but a 16 year old? Come on.
But yes, quality is an expectation in the public. It doesn't mean he SHOULDN'T release it, it just means that if some people don't like it, he has to put up with that.

Its all pretty impressive and i wish him the best, but i expect a certain degree of quality of every videogame, his game looks pretty ok though. I also don't think people shouldn't say the problems they have with it, its keeping quiet about the games problems that made the entire videogame industry poor quality to begin with.

If i ever get a cat i'll consider giving it a sugar cote. Though i don't the cat would appreciate it, it might feel weird and itchy. Also i'd imagine it would mess with its feline reflexes and free movement. I'd rather give my cat a sugar coat, though i'd imagine it would be incredibly difficult to design and make a fully functional and fashionable sugar coat. Since i don't have anything else to do i might as well get around to research it, probably better than to play videogames almost all day, and would do the world a great service, who wouldn't want a sugar coat

I never said it wasn't, but being a 1 man team, or the developers age isn't an excuse for bad games, which again i'm not saying unturned is, cause i didn't play it, but no need to point that around left and right to people saying they don't like the game or that they encountered bugs. we don't have to love. . . but on the fact the dev is 16 and blew 16 of the early access games, which are asking 19.99+ for their broken games (whereas the kid is letting people play the full game for free), you kinda should send him love. I'm not a fanboy by any means but for anyone to call out a 16 year old for making a game that bests most games that have made over a million (Dayz, rust) they are proving themselves fools. Even if the game were half of what it is now. . . one would be a fool not to see this kid has massive potential. Dare I say the kids is a genius and has published a game on steam to prove it. I'd just like to make this clear : I at no point had an intention of being aggressive in any way, even so to call people names. I'm on the receiving end of this. It's not like I started the name-calling, or even so am trying to seem offended. I don't care if you like it or not, but it's ridiculous to expect quality from a 16 year old. That's a young age, and you can't expect him to be very much experienced otherwise you have VERY high expectations.
If you actually have the balls to, not implying you are, try and beat this game down for how simple and amusing it is especially with how modest he is on the forums, you're as bad as someone who beats down CoD for being... CoD. You can't expect much from CoD which is an FPS. Most FPS games now-a-days are just simple and when the rare unique FPS comes along, go and play that. There's no reason for you(anyone) to beat the game down because it doesn't mean X quality compared to Y game.
As for the 'scum' comment up-top... That guy's comment was purely that it looks bad. If you base your comment mainly on graphics... You're scum by gaming standards. Graphics don't matter, at all.

I might have been too harsh, but i don't like when people try to stop somebody else for saying their opinion no matter the reason. As far as COD goes i don't like it and as such don't play it, simple as that, however i also don't like minecraft or its artstyle. I can play a 15 year old game and love it and its graphics, its just that the minecraft block artstyle doesn't really appeal to me and i can understand that it might be a deal breaker for others. Its probably a lot easier to make then something trying to be more lifelike, but i don't have to like it.
I understand he is young and he seems like a great guy that made a good game, but just so we're clear he doesn't HAVE to make a videogame or release it on the most popular existing gaming platform. He seems to be doing a great job, but i have to be honest here, (and its in no way pointed at him, just my personal opinion) if i have to choose to play an excellent game made by a group of highly trained professionals, or a mediocre game made by a single young kid, i'm gonna play the one that is better. It might make me a horrible person, but i'm gonna play a game i enjoy more, the developers age doesn't influence me that much. Still, its pretty impressive he made such a game, i hope he can find future in this business too.

It isn't that bad honestly. It's great for people who don't want to go into the EA risk with Dayz or Rust. It's also great for people who can't run the games since this game can run on pretty much everything. I played a little bit of it and I'm not going to say it's bad, but I'd rather play some of the other games that I have. It's worth a try and honestly if you enjoy the game enough buy the $5 gold account upgrade. This is made by 1 person and he's pretty much giving you everything. You get a good amount of stuff from it so support the guy.
