That giveaway was for Galactic Arms Race and had 29,740 entries and 25,000 prizes, so you had an 84.06% chance to win. It was more than a year ago.

Don't these giveaways usually have keys automatically assigned to our profiles? I can see the Steam key on my wins page for Galactic Arms Race. I expected the same thing here.
Maybe cg need to run some script to assign the keys to our accounts, or maybe we will actually be receiving them by email.

They have to send 15,000 keys, Don't expect it to just happen. Somebody has to input all those codes in whatever fashion it is usually done. The last giveaway I did with around the same amount of keys given away it took up to a day or so for everybody to get their key so I expect it around the same time.

There's probably a script that parses a text file containing the keys. It's just that I expected the keys to be in the database beforehand and be assigned to the winners instantly, instead it looks like they're being added after the giveaway ends. I got mine already so they are either still being assigned or already in everyone's account at the moment.

At least you had a chance! I didn't even know this was a thing.

No, I don't really look at the giveaway page much anymore, mostly just visiting the forums. I do enter for group giveaways, but I click on the links from the relevant group pages so I never really see a big list of them all.
I would've entered for this, maybe I should check the GA page more often.

Right, of course, giveaway creator will manually copy/paste 15k email addr... wait, he will take notes on paper of all 15k email addresses, and then manually send the emails, after typing in the 15-character activation code (that he previously wrote down on another piece of paper (yes, ONE piece of paper, when you have to write this much you learn to write in very small letters!)...), one by one. Yeah, it might be a while before you get your key. Oh, and hope he didn't make a typo in the key or the email address...
