I agree, It would be a great Idea although, We don't really have a lot of games up for giveaway atm so, not much of a use

Even with the small amount of [active] gifts at the moment it still is a time saving feature; Besides it's good future proofing.

That trick is messy, plus you get a lot of closed gift posts. With a built in search you can filter the closed gift posts and search only the active posts if you wish. And the longer this site exists the more useless that trick becomes. We could really use a search feature in the near future.

I think is an important feature as well. As of right now, there's a small enough number of pages that you could just look through all of them, but if Steam Gifts continues to grow (which I think it will), a search function would be very necessary.
