Hi I'm going home during the holiday to my parents house, and I'll bring my really shitty laptop. So I wondered if anyone has any recommendations for some good games with pretty low system requirements. Thanks :)

edit:
Yeah my specs might help:
AMD Radeon HD 6380G
Windows 7 64bit
AMD E2-3000MAPU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.80 GHz
4GB RAM

By the way, can you post a Speccy screenshot for people to know requirements they should stick to while recommending games?

Now that your specs are up, have you tried 100% Orange Juice? You should consider it if you have access to the internet while you're there, because while its single player mode is enjoyable, it really shines in multiplayer.

Yeah I the game and internet but unfortunately my friends get offset because of the anime style :/ Is it fun with randoms too?

My laptop had a hard time with the first one, might have been because of it was in flash. But I'll definitely pick it up during the sale ^^

Definitely do that if you enjoyed the first one. It even lagged on beast PCs but its just fine now, it even runs smooth on my potato. Already have 140 hours played its my GOTY

Space Chem, FTL: Advanced Edition, Binding of Isaac

Point and Click adventure games and those Anime style novella games seem to have low system requirements too.

Yeah I've been recomended Space Chem before, got the time now during christmas to finally check it out. FTL is amazing too. Not really in to VN though :/

Killing Floor
Uplink
Airmech
Audiosurf
CS:S
Fork Parker's Holiday Profit Hike(just came out on Steam for free, it's fun)
LoL(some people love it, others hate it, but the minimum specs are lower than DOTA2, which it's good for me)
Monaco
One Way Heroics
Risk of Rain
Super Hexagon
Teleglitch
Hammerwatch
Mark of the Ninja(not playing anymore because I beat it, but still fun SP game)
Terraria
Bastion
HL2
Portal...

All I can think of right now. Have fun.

I have an absolute toaster, but I ran Legend of grimrock and Fallout NV without mayor issues.

Also:

AI war
Tales of maj´eyal
Risk of rain
Hotline miami

Also the classics like deus ex-thief-system shock 2

I have tried Legend of grimmrock before but it ran terrible :( I guess it wouldn't run Fallout NV either then. I have played the others except for the classics. It feels like you have to have played them sometime in your life :) Since System SHock 2 is out on steam will the first one be released some time too?

I had a Toshiba Satellite A100 Core2 Duo 1.66GHz, 2Gb RAM, Nvidia 7300 Go 128MB, and Fallout NV just ran perfectly.

Depends on exactly what you mean by low, but here are some good ones that a computer from 2005 should be able to run:
The blackwell series
Broken Sword 1 & 2
Conquest of Elysium 3
Darwinia
Delve Deeper
Dominions 3 or 4
DOOM 1 & 2
Eversion
Geneforge series
Half-Life
Majesty Gold (HD?)
Quake 1 & 2
Shadow Warrior Classic
Time Gentlemen, Please! & Ben There, Dan That!
Dawn of War 1
Age of Wonders 1 & 2

Thanks! I think I'm in the mood for some quake :) Shadow warrior classic is amazing too, I actually prefer it over Duke Nukem 3D ;)

How low does it have to be?... You can try very good games:

Hitman 2 and Hitman Contracts and Hitman Blood money.
Psychonauts
Beyond good and Evil
Silent Hill 2 and 3
Indigo Prophecy
Mafia

The length of the game doesn't really matter to me. I did play Hitman absolution a while ago on my desktop so I might have to play the first ones too. My laptop runs psychonauts really bad, so I'll save it until i get home :) Unfortunately I don't have a console to play the others :/

I've only played Skyrim before but most of my friends prefer Oblivion so I might have to try it out. Not sure if my computer can hadle Dragon Origins though. Regarding the Nintendo games, I've tried emulating before but it just doesn't want to work :( I've played the other ones before and they were all awesome ^^

High five! I'm on my netbook during this Christmas time, so I feel your pain. I installed mostly some little games, just to spend the time I've got on my hands and get some achievements. The examples are:

Atom Zombie Smasher

Bejeweled 3 (surprisingly addictive one)

Botanicula

Don't Starve

Dead Pixels

Dungeons of Dredmor

Eryi's Action

Hero Siege

OMG Zombies!

Poof

Robin Hood

Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe

Terraria & Torchlight (not a fan, but they're good for bad comps)

Yeah that's smart, I'm a little of an achivement hunter so I might just do the same. I'm really interested in Dungeons of Dredmor. I recently got the don't starve together so I might play that a bit with my friend. But I'll install the rest and test them. Thanks for the list :)
