Reminds me of one of the only MMOs I ever really played. Some people would say trading an item back and forth rapidly just before the servers cut off for maintenance would sometimes cause both people to end up with a copy of that same item.
I would sure say it isn't implausible that you got it free by accident, and who knows what auditing system they have in check. Price glitches don't get retroactively fixed...

The exact thing happened to me when I went to buy Castlevania:LoS2.
Tried to buy the game, was stuck on the processing page, reload, try to buy again and it said I already had it. Checked my library, and it was there... half an hour later, game was removed from my library, and I was never charged (and I never received the email from Steam). I think if you don't receive the Steam "Thank you for your purchase" email, the process fails.
They will remove the game from your library eventually.

Well, I'm wondering, what if you get game like Guild Wars that way? You can see the CD-Key without installing the game so you can redeem it on your GW acc. Would it get revoked too? (I'm not going to try that, just wondering) :P

i wonder what about the XIII-2 and Lightning Returns? and hopefully XV will have PC port in short time after it release on PS4.
