q3 has the two most common ways it would be written, and 1 it's a simple format if you follow the way you are supposed to do it.

I don't understand what the first math question wants.
I tried doing the obvious thing, and I even tried following what it said in the description. Nada..

Hey there everyone!
We over at Evil Puzzles -Я- Us are hosting a little treasure hunt of games. Each one will have a puzzle, and the games will get better as you go on. Now, none of us are rich, so we can't afford to do anything too big, but we hope you enjoy it.
4 of us participated in making the puzzles and giveaways for this. myself, teurmug, Fever and Chiasm.
We will also be using this to recruit new members, so if you get to the end, let us know if you would like an invite and we'll review everything. If you'd rather do it a quicker way without giveaways because you don't want games for some reason, we have a recruitment puzzle on our group page linked above.
There is no contribution value, and the puzzles will go until the morning of March 11 EST.
Standard rules apply, no cheating, leaking, sharing. You know the drill.
If you finish a puzzle or are enjoying it, we would appreciate a bump to get more people to enjoy it also.
If you are stuck on something, post on the giveaway page that you found that puzzle on. The group will discuss it if people are stuck on the same questions, and potentially give hints, but we aren't planning on it as the puzzles contain hints already.
If you are planning on applying to join, we are looking for active members who enjoy making and doing puzzles. The goal of the group is not to solve puzzles together, but to make them together, test out new question ideas on other members, and share forum posts that contain a puzzle you enjoyed or think has a good prize. There are no requirements about giving away games to fellow group members, though we would of course be appreciative of that.
If you have any questions about the group, just ask and we will gladly answer them.
