I think you should censor the name since you can get suspended for calling out lol.

calling out what ? a phishing bot ? lol ... but ok i removed the name ...

its a stupid rule because it should be allowed to report this kind of bots / phisher / scammer so the community can block them / warn other users

but ok...

Yep,you can't... it's not stupid because they may be doing it or maybe the guy you are doing a screenshot has the same name and avatar of another guy so the other guy which did nothing could get in trouble..

Just so you know, these 'phishers' are bots.
Basically, when you click on the link and lose your Steam account, a bot takes it over and sends the same phishing link that you received to everyone on your friend list.
Then, everyone on your friend list might lose their account to another bot, and it goes on and on.

I don't understand... Even if one visited the link and the bot got his/her password, it would be useless if he/she had his/her Steam Guard enabled, wouldn't it?

i supose ... unless you have the same password both for mail and steam .. wich i dont have just because of this kind of things .. so its better to have different passwords .. like steam , mail , paypal , humble , etc

you can visit the link ... i already visited and surfed its like a exact copy from steam site ... the problem is if you login in that site .. that is the problem

People always complain to me about "I can't remember all these passwords, I just use the same one it makes life easier"

A better plan is have your favorite password then add something to it for each different service. For example lets say you use willywonka1! for your password. Add the name of the service to the beginning or end such as hotmailwillywonka1! or gmailwillywonka1! or steamwillywonka1!.

Seems to me its just as easy to remember, harder for a bot to guess, flawless victory.

i use this app on my mobile phone .. and i keep there all my passwords ..

i have high secure diferent passwords for main services like email, steam, paypal, bank etc ... and then i have 3 diferent password security levels for the rest of sites and foruns etc

for example password123 for low security sites PassWord123# for medium security sites and PaSs123#Word123# for more high security passwords..

it sounds confuse .. but since i have them all in that app in my mobile .. and the mobile is always with me i dont have any problems with logins or passwords
