The idea of the group is that people with an interest in point and click games join and win, rather than giving a game to someone who has no intention of playing a point and click game. So I ask that you only join if you enjoy point and click games.

The Steam group link is here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/PandCGifts/

I will create a giveaway when the group gets to about 30 members.

Too bad there are only a few great games in the genre. One of my favorites as well, but The Longest Journey is pretty much the only great one for me.

Few great games? Well, maybe. But there are many at least good games from this genre. Many of them on Steam. Many hidden and underrated gems very few people know about.

Agreed. Alternativa, Alter Ego, Gray Matter, Gabriel Knight, Broken Sword, Syberia, Still Life, Moment of Silence, And Then There Were None etc. are at least good. Art of Murder: FBI Confidential was not so good. Paradise and A New Beginning are okay. I still got alot of these games to play, and I can't wait :p

I haven't played a lot of Point and Click games, but I still remember the game Keepsake, which I played years ago, and how much trouble trees and lighting orbs gave me. It's still one of most memorable games I have ever played.

Keepsake! Aha! I found you! I played it almost a decade ago, I remember some of the puzzles, but I couldn't remember the name of the game.

Anyone who likes RTS, action and emergency simulations should try Emergency 2014.
It's a point and click game, and it has multiplayer too! (But only for freeplay)

I grew up on the old-school sierra games like King's Quest, Space Quest, Quest for Glory, Conquests of Camelot, etc. as well as some others like Full Throttle.

The Myst games could also qualify as point-and-click, and I've played through most of those as well.
