Is Crysis 3 the awesome game everyone seems to say it is? I'm wanting to buy it on Origin for $20, but is it really worth it? thanks

I've never played the series. I heard the game itself is meh. The reason people like Crisis, is because it's one of the very best looking games. I think people just get it to test their computer specs.

And how exactly do you know why people like Crisis? The series is simply a very good FPS and additionally it looks great. What's there not to like? I still have yet to play the third one though.

That's just what I've heard. I could be wrong. That's the impression I get though. I never see anyone praise Crisis for its gameplay. I just see people talking about the graphics.

I thought Crysis 3 was ahead of most other FPS's when it comes to gameplay, it's so smooooooooooth. The other Crysis'es (Crysies?) felt a lot clumsier, and Crysis 2's campaign was a nightmare that stretched itself for way too long...

Over-use Invisibility or won't survive the higher difficulties, and it is really cool if you came to like stealth games. And it is an aggresive kind of stealth, and the way you use it to kill enemies while remaining hidden is pretty dope.

Crysis 3 is the second best one in the series, with 1 being the best and 2 being the worst IMO.

2 is a good game. But I guess our styles are different.

crysis 2 is my favourite cos of all the intense action. crysis 1 is my second favourtite cos of open world and destructibility and crysis 3 is my third favourite because the game is so good i can barely run it on my computer properly. But if your computer is good enough, then 100% get Crysis 3, its legit the best game ever

I got Crysis 3 for 5 USD. 20 is probably overpriced.

It's not bad. Crysis totally worth a price on sale (I mean not a full one) so I say "yay".

OH YES IT IS. I love the campaign (it is a bit too short) and multi is really variated.

Oh, and DAT GAMEPLAY. Got it for 14 dollars and was worth it.

Crysis 3 is a terrible game with a bad story and map design. It's way too boring. EA doesn't sell its games for a few bucks if it's good. The only good thing about it is its graphics.

Even TheCynicalBrit disagrees on you in terms of the story, and that guy is hard to please. The only flaws of the story is that there's no real connection between C2 and C3, but it is still better than 70% of videogames' stories in my opinion.
