With the new Razer products coming in with Chroma.
I thought it was only happening to the Blackwidow and Naga.

But then I found this

Is the Deathadder Chroma for reals?

Amazon uses ref to tell how you got to that page through their site. Ref links use "tag"

Didn't realize it was a ref link, so then what do I do?

Its not a referral, is reference, don't worry, you wont get suspended for that, even if some ppl complain, but you can remove all starting from "/ref=....", only the code before ref is important here, so they stop complaining.

This mouse is the exact same but with an RGB LED instead and more interpolated CPI steps.

$68....you can buy a really good mouse for this money, like a Logitech G600, do not buy that Razer really, I have a Razer Deathadder 3.5G is very comfortable yes, but software sucks a lot, changing profiles is shitty, and their updates are useless, I could get something better for 40€ really, I have it for more than 1.5 years I think.

So what makes the G600 better? As I said below, I'm ordering all my parts from PCCG, & they do not stock the G600.

The G600 isn't. The Deathadder is the one mouse Razer makes that's actually pretty good.

More buttons, better quality, better software.

You need to log in online to use their driver. Like, every time you turn on your PC.

Go for a Logitech G400. Trust me :)

I can live with that. From what I've heard you can set it to log in automatically. I'm ordering all of my parts from PCCG, & they don't stock the G400.

The bad thing about the software is, it doesn't changes automatically most of the profiles you set, so you have to minimize game and change manually, or press the button you have at the bottom to change one by one, but this way you cannot see for what profile you are changing to since in full screen mode is impossible to show it. Without the software you cannot adjust do lots of options, and setting some buttons to do something in game option may produce giant delay, specially to F keys, so you have to use the software. Software is getting annoying by the time, not from first weeks, trust me is a pain when you are playing Battlefield or Minecraft Survival Games or Chivalry, and you press a button and it doesn't do what it supposed to, and you die....since when launching game the profile didn't changed automatically.

Take it from a gamer who uses Razer mice... Don't buy them... They use cheap chinese clickers that start acting up as soon as the warranty is over...

Edit... yeah they are real... just another bling Razer decided to add to their gear to justify increasing the price by 10-15Euros

And my mouse has no problems at all (Razer Mamba 2012)

They use Omrons for the main microswitches which is fairly standard for "gaming" mice. Most companies use them in at least afew products since people like the feel.

I don't like Razer or their build quality much either but the issue with the switches isn't on them.
