Sony cancels 'The Interview'.

North Korea is best Korea.

Some people like those movies, you lose absolutely nothing by them being made. If you want money to be allocated to better movies, you have to change people preferences, not the film industries decisions.

Intelligence agencies say they haven't heard anything to indicate that attacks may happen. I would delay the movies release but otherwise I wouldn't give in especially considering how much money they have invested/could earn. North Korea always makes threats like this, its just its easier to attack a company than a government.

Didn't have plans on seeing it anyways, honestly I'm tired of those 2 guys. If it got on HBO or cinemax or any of the other crap I have I might have watched it out of boredom.

Pity. It's quite a boring way to settle this for now. Been waiting to see what would happen.

Guys, my dad works for Sony, the film is still being made, he is going to get me an extra non speaking part, I ask one of the heroes in the movie, "Hey you, are you that guy?"

Delay nothing, cancel nothing, let it all happen on schedule...then, while North Korea is trying to find the missile launch button, send in the CoD kids to fuck North Korea's mum...otherwise every single terrorist cell in the world will start threatening movies instead of the President

If I lived in the US, I would intentionally go watch it even though I don't really care about this movie.

While I am not a big fan of Seth Rogan & James Franco and I think the movie idea was really stupid I believe not releasing the movie at all gives the terrorists more power.

Where will they stop next time (if they actually stopped this time, as they could and more then likely will still release stuff).

"We don't like the marvel movie coming out because it doesn't have any scenes in North Korea so we'll hack you and bring death on your shores."

"We don't like your movie because there is pink in it and we don't like the color pink, so we'll hack you and bring death to your cities."

"We don't like the date you are releasing a movie because its a day before our great leaders birthday, don't release the movie at all or else your people will die!"

I don't normally swear but I say fuckem. If they put it in a theater and something happens ya they could be sued out of existence (I think, not totally sure on that) so put it up on the torrent sites. Heck even if they don't put it on blu-ray or direct download or in theaters thats where it will eventually end up anyway.

Heck I don't even want to see the movie cause I think its a stupid idea, but I'd download it it just as a big FU to the people threatening others with death just because they don't like the movie.

Even though I won't see the movie, I think that pulling the movie from theaters is the dumbest thing Sony could do. They allowed other people outside of their company and target audience to have huge power over their decisions and products.
