So, quick question from a tattoo, I DID have a tab open last night (before I fell asleep) where someone had The Orange Box steam key for US$5, it has since finished (yes, I know, you snooze you lose) but I've found somewhere else now that has it for US$4.63. Now, I've exhausted every option I can think of to find it any cheaper but I though you knowledgeable lot might have an in on somewhere I COULD get it cheaper...anyone? Please? I'll give you my girlfriend's cat?

I think thats the cheapest you'll find. There might be one of those shady cd key sites that have it for less, but not by much.

Pretty sure you could sell the cat for more than an orange box

Hmm, GMG had it for $3.89 just about an hour ago, but it appears it's over now?

Agreed. I've never played TF2 or Portal, but any Half-Life game is worth $50 to this day, so knocking a 0 off is a no-brainer. Under $5 is a guaranteed steal for these titles.

Although I own them all, I've considered buying The Orange Box for "premium" TF2. What does it have the the F2P doesn't?

I think the only difference is you can sell TF2 items? You can get TF2 premium for like 40 cents or less just by buying an item in tf2..like some crappy bow or hat. I only got premium to sell the pre-order TF2 items for certain games. But I dont play TF2 much, havent played it in years.

If you can get the orange box for under 5 bucks, get it period. Portal alone is worth it.

Another dumb question...possibly...do I really need to play Half-Life before HL2? And should I play the Episodes before or after HL2?
