OK, makes sense but I never played F2P games, except TF2 and Hawken and I owned that before it got F2P. They were counting them ALL in everyone's account?

lately steam is messing up the game count, especially after what happened with the free games. I went from 103 to 107 with the free games, and then back to 101.
Maybe they're deleting betas of double games.
For example chivalry medieval warfare: you get the game and a beta version.
or 99 spirits: you get the game and the japanese version tsumokagami.
Maybe that's what happening

Betas are still there. But as far as I can see everyone says it's F2P game so most likely that's the problem. I didn't know they start removing F2P games from account and never suspected they would, especially since I heard that F2P games will now appear in your library permanently if you play them.

Hi guys,
I noticed something weird lately on my Steam account.
The games number that shows up on my profile page (the one in the right side, below the badges), as well as the one in the Game Collector, case keeps going DOWN with every game I buy. Also, this one is different form the one in my client library (the menu where you select Installed, Fav, All Games etc.). I have 428 there
For example about a week ago, I had 446. Got Icarus Online and Ubersoldier from a friend and instead of going to 448 it went to 445. Today I bought Metro Last Light CE and it went down to 440.
As far as I know this shows the number of games I own. Shouldn't it be going UP? The problem is I don't know what I'm missing or if I am missing anything at all. Does anyone have any ideas on this? This is really weird and disturbing, especially since I don't know if I'm loosing games or not.
