Borderlands 2 GOTY on database?

Are you nuts? D: It took a long time for the first one to even get down to $30. We probably wont see Borderlands 2 GOTY be $5 on sale until the new one is announced! ;_; which takes time.

Argh, me too :D bought the first one on GMG for 5$, and it's funny and enjoyable game. So when they lower BL2 GOTY -I really hope they'll make it- I'll buy it. And I don't think it will take a lot of time, now 30€ on Steam but they already discounted it to 13€ few weeks ago, so probably they will lower this to 15€ and then to 7.5€ like the first BL.

Yes it did just come out, but the whole point of GOTY editions are usually to include all the DLC packs like Borderlands 1.

I guess since the game isnt out yet, it will probably include it later.

Did you expect them not to? Thats sorta what GOTY always is, all of the content released for a game, pretty much complete edition, at least thats what I experienced in the past with GOTY editions.

Honestly if it didn't I probably would not purchase, thats sorta the reason to wait for it.

Neither of the 2 GoTY's that I've bought have had all DLC.
Civ V GoTY didn't include all the civilization packs (think I'm still missing Korea and another one), didn't include Gods & Kings and came before Brave New World.
TES IV: Oblivion GoTY only game with Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. But from the looks of thing none of the others are that big anyway so not a massive loss.

I dont play those types of games(reality strategy type games), I wouldn't know, what I do know is Borderlands 1 came with everything, and every other game I ever bought that was Goty edition came with everything....Dead Island, NWN, Batman: Arkham City, plenty more that I can't think of.

Point is most GOTY editions come with everything...I have bought way way way more then 2 in my life time, also Oblivion comes with everything if you get the Deluxe, its not much more(5 dollar difference maybe), not sure why anyone would go for GOTY of that game, but guess different strokes for different folks, you probably wont miss much yeah, this one I feel you would if they left characters out.

The people that made Borderlands 2 know many people are waiting for a complete version, hell I won't touch it if its not complete, no way in hell will I pay 20 bucks for 2 characters...thats insane if you ask me.

Ah, those 2 games and BL 1 were the only 2 GoTYs that I've bought and I got Oblivion on disc from my brick and mortar store before I used steam so didn't know there was a deluxe version.

I bought it as a disc copy without Steam key before I knew about steam so didn't know there was a deluxe version.

But I've lost that disc so might pick it up again on Steam summer sale.

No, I knew they probably would, but that doesn't mean it can't hurt! :p

Season Pass content is an obvious inclusion and maybe even the preorder bonuses, but the fact they neglected to throw all the skins in means they're still hoping to milk it a bit. With that said, it more so surprised me that they would include the characters as well rather than trying to milk it even more.
