Contact support if you have prove that you send it to them... Also check their profiles and look if they activated the game or not. If they did you can use that as prove.

Same happened to me. After sending the winner the game (Postal 2), I checked his Steam profile and he redeemed it (it also disappeared from my inventory). He never even bothers to mark it as received, blocking my giveaway limit.

Link has been taken btw.

i tink about this, but new users need know about legitimacy of steamgifts. if all ppl put cv new users will not even try to win and never will gift nothing..
by the way, i only have problem in steamgift . I have 100% in other sites, i tink it happen cuz steamgift is the most famous gift site.

I think I get lucky with my winners. I've given away 59 public GA's with no CV on here, and every single one of them has marked it as received and such.

Next time you shoudl put 0.1 dollar CV, or 30.01 - then you can be sure that those who enter, know how this site works.

If you let it open to everyone, you're taking the risk.

I still do public GA's from time to time, but I always make sure and get in touch with the person before I give them the game. If they can't be bothered to talk to me, I can't be bothered to give them the game and ask for a re-roll.

Document everything. You never know when you'll need it.

Notice how the person who marked your game as "not received" has won the same game twice in the past. Check your winner's profile. If you see anything shady like this, report and ask a reroll.

I guess OP has to report some users. I see one that has in his library a "not received" game, and another one that has in his library TWO "not received" games (OP is not the only victim there).

Ah, finely observed. I just had a quick peek, only noticed what I said.

edit : it could also be that you mark a game as "not received" because the creator of the gift didn't send it to you, and then, a while later, you get it by yourself. For instance, if you look at the games I won, I had the creator of a giveaway providing me with a region-locked key... so I marked as "not received". And then, a while alter, I bought the game myself.

So there's no way of telling if there's foul play in this case. However, I can't think of any case why you would win the same game twice and mark as received both times.

Contact support. Even if they don't mark it as received, they can give you more giveaway slots so you can still giveaway games on this site.

I had this happen to me too, its been a year since I put in a support ticket and it was never resolved.

Contact and wait for support, they can be slow because there is very few support and lots and lots of users.

I believe once every week to 2 weeks is ok to bump a message to support if nothing happens, that means to reply to the message you have already made don't make a whole new one for the same issue.

I have seen some of my messages answered in hours, I have also seen some of my messages not be answer in over 2 months.

Suggestions for the future, contact people in steam chat. Once you actually have the people live on the other end, then send it. Take some screen shots of the chat so that you have evidence. And don't forget to lightly prod them to hit received. This is how I do it.

I check their account to make sure they don't have the game, I will then add them as a friend.
Once I have them as a friend and I see that they are online I say this.
"Greetings and congrats on winning one of my steamgifts.com giveaways."

Once they actually respond, I say this.
"Just give me a moment and I will go and get your key for you."

At this point I double check everything to make sure they actually don't have the game, I will bring up the steam gifts created page and have the giveaway they are in highlighted. I will then send them the gift from inventory or I will put the key into the chat window.

I will then say
"There ya go, don't forget to check received over at http://www.steamgifts.com/manage/won when you get a chance."

I will then take a screen shot of the chat with the steamgifts created page up behind it and once they say they have hit received I always check, and once I see it is selected, I take another screen shot and thats usually the end of it.

While not nearly as severe as some of the other examples, I've had an encounter with such an user as well. I tried to add him on Steam but he immediately blocked me and as a result I attempted to contact him via email multiple times which were ignored and so I eventually contacted support and explained the situation. He may just have been busy or something however, as he accepted the gift a few days later, I wouldn't know because we shared no interaction at all, which was my other issue because I usually expect a "Thank you" in return unless the game just so happens to be Bad Rats in which case I'll demonstrate pity instead. Anyhow, that's my story.
