Better than DiRT 3? I didn't own it, it's downloading now! :D Been playing DiRT Showdown because DiRT3 doesn't work for me on Windows 8. :(

dirt2 rocks! idk about d3, dont have it b/c price never drops :p i've heard some people say dirt2 has a better progression path (they dont like gymkhana or something?). anyway enjoy d2 because it rocks, finished all the races first place, and almost all the achievements :D

DiRT 3 is placed more into a main menu atmosphere while DiRT 2 is all in the world. D2 also has way more graphical detail and looks just beautiful while D3 is not as good as that one.
Driving is easier in D3 since you have steering assists and all that(it's like NFS:Shift on dirt), in D2 you don't have any assists like that.
Showdown is it's own story and I didn't like it all that much because the events are so repetative and the difficulty is fucked up
