Oh the subject 16 stuff? Yeah thats awesome!!! I never saw something more unfitting (talking 'gameplay' here) that these stupid symbols in a game about some super assassin but wait, there was that middle part in Far Cry 3 where I had to fight a giant flaming face after some hours of real far cry gameplay that made me get rid of that game. Not even talking about the horrible or non existing PC support Ubisoft has, their logo became something like a warning symbol over the past 3-5 years.

I'm 90% sure there won't be any sale for GTA V atleast for half a year. But I think for any other AAA games which were released atleast a year ago there'll surely be a discount in xmas sales on Steam.
So you should better pick up GTA V when released if you don't want to wait til sales and stuff and then wait for xmas sales and buy yourself "few" xmas presents :)

BS, if you can't afford one dollar for pack of games then you can't afford PC to even play them. Do you really think all those beggars play for example Crisis 2 on 486DX from the thrash bin? This is absolutely incorrect, Many people have computers, yet live on a fixed income, or have come on hard times, and simply can't afford even 1$ to toss away on games some times. Heck for awhile now I have been playing my games on a 9 year old computer, because I cannot afford to fix my gaming rig, and I was pleasantly surprised at how many modern games a 9 year old computer can still play.

If they literally cannot afford to spare $1, then why do they spend anywhere from $20-50 for internet, each month? If $1 is the difference between them having enough food and them starving, then they need to cancel their internet connection, because if something unexpected happens, like the price of milk goes up $0.40, then they are going to starve to death.

I didnt say that these people necessarily had internet, but even at that, Currently it is cheaper to have internet, and use a IP phone, than it is to have a cell phone or a regular landline, and everyone needs to have some sort of way to communicate with the outside world, if for nothing else but emergencies. And when the unexpected happens, that is what programs like the food shelf program we have in the US are for.

Again, someone who is literally $1 away from starving shouldn't have a cell phone either. Sure, cell phones, internet, landlines, whatever, are all good ways of staying in touch, but if you are /literally/ $1 away from starving, then you simply can't afford those things.
And in context, we were referring to people begging on the internet for $1 humble bundles. Someone begging for $1 humble bundles is not $1 away from starving, simple as that.
If that person was $1 away from starving, they'd be out begging for $1 for food, not a video game.

All of your assumptions are false. I grew up homeless, living on the street and in homeless shelters. I grew up begging for food. My dinner was half a peanut butter sandwich, and I was happy for it. Even then, we were never $1 away from starving. The difference was always about $10-20, as at any point we could have gone about $10-20 worth of food lost from our budget before actually starving. And there were plenty of shelters that would provide meals for a single parent and her 3 children.
I wasn't judgmental to anybody, nor did I assign any blame at all. I honestly don't even know what you are talking about.

Going only by your statements, other false assumptions you've made include:
1) That if I don't have a dollar to spend on a game bundle, I don't have any money at all.
2) That if I have no money to spend on games, I must necessarily not own a computer.
3) That the internet connection I use belongs to me.
4) That I pay for that internet connection.
5) That I have neither the desire nor ability to win a game on SteamGifts should any of the false assumptions listed above have actually been true.
You say that you weren't being judgmental, but your first response starts with "BS." That sure sounds judgmental. It sounds like you're being dismissive and calling me a liar. Even though I'm not one, I still don't like being called a liar. And then there's the "tone" that seems to come across in your postings. You may not have been thinking "You guys are full of crap. I know what I'm talking about and you guys don't," but that is how it was coming across. Just as I don't know your personal history, you don't know mine, and you have no clue as to my personal situation unless and until you are informed about it.
On a totally different level, I fully agree with you. Computer games (and computer gaming) take a backseat to survival and most other things in life. Like cigarettes or booze, playing computer games is a luxury, not a necessity.

No, you clearly made the assumption I had no experience with poverty at all, and that assumption was false. And I wasn't "judging" anyone, just saying I didn't believe what they said. I guess that could be considered "judging" them as a liar, but I didn't mean it to be "judgmental," so much as just expressing the fact that I find it hard to believe that someone was literally $1 away from starving, and spending time begging for steam games. So if it is judgmental to call someone out when, in a discussion, they make outrageous statements about a hypothetical person who literally does not have $1 to spare, but still spends time begging for steam games on the internet, then sure, I was being judgmental. But I wasn't being judgmental about a person not managing money well enough, nor about a person begging, nor about someone not having money to spare, I was being judgmental about a person who claimed that there could exist someone who literally doesn't have $1 to spare, but still sits around on the internet begging for games.
Also, I think you need to pay a little more attention, I'm not the one who started my comment with "BS." I started my first comment asking for clarification why someone could literally not spare $1, but could afford things like internet.
And just to fix your misunderstandings of my so called "assumptions" I'll explain them to you:
1) If you have a spare $1, then you can afford a humble bundle. Conversely, if you can not afford the Humble Bundle, you do not have a spare $1. Makes perfect sense, and is not an assumption, but a statement of logical fact.
2) Again, you are confusing me with someone else. I said you shouldn't have an internet connection, because internet connections bill every month, while your computer could be years old, from a time when you had spare money.
3) I think the assumption here was that this person is an adult who is responsible for his own bills, and has a readily available internet connection to spend leisure time on forums and websites, chatting with people. Drawing from that assumption, I made the conclusion that he would be buying his own internet connection, and not mooching off of parents or neighbors, nor making use of a public connection, like the library, as then he wouldn't be on his own computer to install games and play them.

5) I mentioned nothing about you at all. All of my statements were made about a fictitious, hypothetical person who literally does not have $1 to spare. Once again, that was someone else who mentioned you.

You're not alone...not by a long shot. I almost never buy them until they're on sale for cheap, since I rarely have any spending money. I made an exception for The Bureau, since it came with the full X-COM collection and Spec Ops: The Line for free (Thanks Green Man Gaming!) Once I have some more money I'll probably buy Saints Row 4 and Watch Dogs before they're on sale just because they're awesome.

If you mean a full price for them, like 30 to 60 euros, then no, you're not alone. Actually, I'm never spending more than 20 bucks on a game, ever, and the only thing that makes me break that rule is Minecraft, but I probably won't do it.
If you mean AAA titles on sale, then I get those fairly regularly as of late, but they have to be around 60-75% off at least for me to consider getting them.

Yup. For me there's no point in getting big titles on release, unless they're multiplayer and all of your friends are gonna play it. For that reason only I got Payday 2 on release (I have no idea why I didn't preorder it tbqh), and even with that, I got it for Russian price.

Once upon a time, I had money to spend on games. In those days, I paid full price for Diablo II and its LOD expansion. (Some of the best money I ever spent. The game is still fun to play to this day.)
Now, however, I have no money to spend on games, so I'm forced to wait until I can buy them for 5-10 dollars each. Forced to wait by necessity, I have learned that waiting for the price to go down is rarely a real problem. If you look at my games collection, you can get an idea of just how many AAA titles I own, and only a few were bought at full price. I can't think of any of them that were worth $60 to play them at launch except maybe the earlier Battlefield games (up to BC2).

I usually buy AAA console games at full or near full price, sometimes I pass and wait until their price goes down (example: MoH: Warfighter and Spec Ops: The Line).
I had a job for a couple of months so I was able to spend a lot of that money on AAA titles. Some AAA games I purchased in the past few months or so are Dishonored (didn't play yet), PlayStation All-Stars, Halo 4, Black Ops II, Far Cry 3, DmC (didn't play), Crysis 3 (didn't play), Tomb Raider, Army of Two: Devil's Cartel, BioShock Infinite (didn't play), Defiance, Dead Island Riptide, Metro: LL, Last of Us, SRIV and GTA V. As for PC games, the only AAA-like game I bought recently on Steam was Payday 2 and some other games that really wouldn't qualify as a AAA title. When it comes to PC games I tend to spend money on older and slightly cheaper AAA titles and recent games on sale. I don't get many recent ones on PC unless there's a big sale going on (Steam Summer, Winter, etc.) You could imagine I have a huge backlog of AAA titles.

So yeah I got 60 euros saved up for GTAV (If It's ever coming to PC) but there also also great games coming to Steam which I'd love to get. Definitely not getting CoD this year cuz I've gotten sicken tired of it. Anyways should I get some other great game or wait for GTAV because I might not have money by the time It gets released if I buy something else.
