the dudes I played with weren't bad 1 year ago on a free weekend. but I always preferred KF to l4d2, in KF even if its co-op you can be really self dependent in case your team is a bunch of newbs who don't want to do anything but 360noscope with katanas.

Always when i played L4D or games like that i do it with people that i know ! it's annoying sometimes to play with people that u don't know :/

I never play with randoms, and I'm happy. Rarely play it with friends though, for that matter.

Don't play with randoms, unless you want that to happen.
It's pretty much the same rule with every multiplayer games I know (with the exception of Killing Floor).

Also if anyone wants to add me and play L4D2, sure. Go ahead, I don't mind I guess. I am very good at this game, i'm a bit rust right now. So I can't play on anything higher than advanced.

It happened with TF2, it happened with L4D, it happens with everything that becomes free, because most of the population is fucking retarded.

Killing Floor community is tons better.

L4D2 had a bad community before it was free if I recall, paid stuff can be horrible alse, see COD for an example...

L4D2 sucks. L4D1 was great though.

Eh I think most of the good players left for other things by now.

L4D2 i think gived many free hats to TF2 players who also free. New Year 2013! Free tf2 socks,free l4d2 items,and a game!
Well,being rude to newbies is also bad. But i prefer dedicated servers rather than normal games(you know why). And those problems are uncommon. For me atleast.

I snagged a copy when the game was free and at that point the community seemed quite friendly, maybe those players couldnt stand the Newbies and kids and left so the remaining players now are your typical competitive f2p community, I'd say to stick to playing with friends or as some people have mentioned try Killing Floor, the comunnity is not bad at all and its a heck of a lot of fun

Part of the reason why I don't find co-op focused games that fun. I always have to arrange to play with my friends if I want to have a good time instead of just being able to play whenever I feel like it.

1. You get loads of free keys you don't need.
2. You post them on some unrelated other game forums and you don't state how to get them instead and what they are for at start.
3. You argue with some random guy about it.

Make me wonder what's the sense of getting multi keys if you don't need them?

About how players play... people played this way even before game was free for one day but there were less of them and only most dedicated were playing. Same happens after evey sale, bundle etc. If how other people play disturbs you, play with friends or own team(s) in private games :P
